🚨 New HYROX Racing Shoe Just Dropped "First of Its Kind"
Hey guys! PUMA have officially released the first-ever HYROX-specific racing shoe… and it’s a big moment for the sport. We’ve seen brands create “hybrid training” shoes before, but never something designed purely around the demands of a HYROX race. This could be the start of a whole new wave of race-specific innovation as HYROX continues to grow. Hello family.. I hope you are all well and having a great week so far!! I put together this video so those who couldn’t come down to HYROX London could have a proper view of the stations and how BIG that event actually was. I know there is a lot of talking around some of the small things that went wrong at the wall ball.. But we gotta give credits where it is deserved.. HYROX UK put together an event for 40k athletes, where they just took the biggest standard HYROX has delivered before, and doubled it. For perspective, the number of athletes a normal event would take 3 days to accommodate, HYROX London took per day, around 10-11k athletes. What did you guys think of the event? And what’s your opinion about the experience they offered? I am actually curious to know your real opinion! 😬💪🏽 Thanks guys. Have a great day. Sub 80 target
Next month Manchester, the goal is Sub 80 mens open In Birmingham I did a 1:12 mens doubles so I have confidence that I can do this (previous open PB being 1:23) I seem to see my hr raise the most on burpees and wall balls What would be your advise or tactic behind seeing a lower hr on these but also completing them faster? Progression? On paper 5 mins run 5 min stations seems such a achievable target just seem to blow it on race days Thank you

Hey monsta! This is very common and I see it every week at the wall balls!haha. Since you know the stations you struggle with, you are at a great advantage! Knowing this before the race you will be psychologically prepared for those stations. Regarding training, you should train those stations and focus on lactate clearance protocols like the drills we did in the seminar. Here is an example: 5 Rds: 12s Fast Thusters (empty bar) 48s slow air squats (or pvc pipe presses, if press is the weakness) Manchester is over a month away so best thing to do is join HR programme and once you join you will have access to the 5 weeks race prep programme.
