Hiya beautiful beings ❤️ So last week, I cancelled my gym membership I had originally signed up at that was next to my apartment. I noticed that this place did not excite me whatsoever and it made me dread going to move my body and skip my workouts. I started looking at other gyms in the area and the only one that truly spoke to me, was about four times the price of my current membership. A part of me thought "how dumb to spend more money on the same thing". It is also a really nice, fancy gym and a part of me felt a bit intimidated even though another part of me was SO FREAKING EXCITED. But that's the thing about getting callings and following our highest excitements, they don't always make sense and most of the times, they're not supposed to. So I went to visit the gym and I knew that this is exactly where I wanted to be. So I signed up. After yesterday's Thunder Buddies call, I was booming with energy because I couldn't wait to go. I felt like a little kid going to a new playground. My point in making this post today is: Have you ever had a calling to do/try something different but your logical mind talked you out of it? And if so, what was it and do you still think about it? AND ARE YOU GOING TO DO IT? In order to embody a new reality for ourselves, we have to start showing up differently. Hi beautiful friends, I’m Amanda. I originally found Laura’s content on Telegram, which sent me on a quest to find her on other platforms, and I’m genuinely grateful it did. I’ve been “awake” for quite a few years now, and I’ll be honest, it’s becoming harder to keep one foot in the matrix while navigating work and everyday life. I’m incredibly grateful to be self-employed, which I have been for over two and a half decades, but I’ve hit a ceiling in my business. I continually struggle to find my footing on social media as I want to pivot slightly, and the perceived “requirement” to show up online has become a real drain on my mental capacity to create and fully show up for my clients. And truthfully, with platforms feeling as slanted as they do, I don’t want to be a player in their narrative. Of course, I’d be foolish to say these platforms are entirely bad. After all, it’s how I found Laura and this community. At the same time, it feels contradictory to pour energy, time, and creative work into systems that currently feel more harmful than helpful, rather than being used for genuine good. I wish I had a clear answer or a deeper rationale to share. I’m still trying to figure out how to navigate business growth and scaling alongside platforms that don’t fully align with me personally, without becoming dependent on them, while still acknowledging the reach and potential they hold. I’m grateful to be in this space with you all and to have conversations with those who understand how this can feel. If any of you have wrestled with this, I’d truly love to hear how you navigate it. 🤍

I plan on continuing with the weekly calls but sometimes due to circumstances that change every week, I can't always make it every Sunday. I also don't want you guys to feel hyped up for Sundays and then I burst your bubble and cancel... So. We will continue with weekly calls but not on a specific day of the week unfortunately, for now. I’ve been spending a lot of time meditating and allowing things to flow through. I’ve found a lot of peace and safety lately but because of that a lot flooded through today, the most in idk how long.
