Hi, I love fish and have since I was a little girl (I’m 43 now so not little any more) and had various aquariums since then with no long term success until I gave it another go in 2020 when I was stuck at home! I now have 4 aquariums, my 75 fresh gal with Roselines and angels (planted), my 55 fresh community with Bozemans, tetras and rasboras, a 15 marine with 2 clowns and a couple hermit crabs, and I’m starting up a new 25 gal marine that I’d like to have as a reef tank. My fresh tanks are both over 5 years old now and healthy and well established. I have adhd, and really like a planted set up that requires a little less attention to detail, so have never been too successful with trickier fish like rams. I’d like to, but I just never spent a ton of time with my water chemistry to get more advanced. My marine tank is over a year old, and is doing well so I am ready to move to the next step. But when I start looking at all the options for salt water tanks, my eyes glaze over. I love the beauty, but I just don’t see myself spending hours and hours researching to get advanced. I’d love to learn more here and know what I’m learning is high quality. I adore fish and want to keep more, but only if I know I’d give them a great home! I live in queen creek, and love plants (aquatic and non) and love propagating and would enjoy trading. I also love snails but have found them hard to come by lately. I am excited about anything that will really save me time keeping my aquariums clean and healthy. I am also interested in learning more about fish that are beautiful and a mid level fish keeper like me can be successful with.
