SOTD: Y Iced Cologne
I got this new one in yesterday and took it for a spin. This one reminds me of Y Eau Fraiche or EDT. This one has that classic Y DNA with a Minty opening with sage and Patchouli. This one is work safe / spring / summer/ daytime / casual. This one lasted all day about 8 hours with good projection of about 2ft of my skin. Presentation is the Y Bottle but nice a clear one with blue juice and a very good atomizer. This one may be redundant for some. Smell to make your own determination. I plan on spraying them side by side with the other ones that I have. I like this one for an office / spring summer time use. 8/10

SOTD: THE Most Wanted parfum by Azzaro
After Spicebomb, this was an early favourite of mine, so far it's still the best release in the entire Wanted line. It was created by Michel Girard, Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Roxanne Kirkpatrick and released in 2022. While the earlier Eau de Parfum (EDP) Intense focused on a playful "toffee" sweetness, the Parfum shifts toward a darker, spicier, and more refined woodiness. The scent is officially built on a minimalist three-note structure, though it feels far more complex in practice: It opens with Red Ginger, which gives a sharp, fiery, and slightly citrusy opening. It’s less fizzy than typical ginger and more warm-spicy. At its heart, you will findI ncandescent Woods. As the ginger fades, a dense, smoky woodiness takes over. It gives the fragrance a glowing charcoal vibe. But the star of the show is found at the base. One the best drydowns I've come across for this style of fragrance. Bourbon Vanilla, a high-quality, balsamic vanilla/creamy and sweet, but not "cupcake" sweet. It’s more reminiscent of an expensive aged spirit. The Parfum concentration lives up to its name, trading loud "room-filling" projection for steady, long-lasting presence. Performance on this is huge, a whopping 8 hours on the skin, On clothes, it can easily last until the next laundry day, with strong projection that can easily fill a room, and the sillage ensures a good scent trail is left behind. Yes definitly my favourite of the Wanted line to date. And an all time Winter legend. My Rating 9/10 Scent 3 Longevity 2.5 Sillage 2.5 Y/N 1

SOTD/Review: Valentino Born In Roma Purple Melancholia
From the very first spray, this opens with a bold, prominent coconut note — creamy, lush, and unmistakable. Baffling really with the coconut being in the heart of the scent. It doesn’t just tiptoe in either; it’s rich and almost gourmand-like right away, giving the fragrance a warm, inviting presence that stands apart from the typical citrusy or spicy openings most men’s scents use. As it evolves, the coconut remains center stage, supported by a soft lavender that smooths and rounds out the sweetness. There’s a gentle warmth as the mid-stage settles, keeping the coconut from feeling one-dimensional and giving it a slightly aromatic, almost milky-dessert feel. In the dry-down, the scent becomes a comfortable, cozy experience — warm woods and ambered accords wrap around the coconut, letting it linger softly without cloying or turning sharp. The result is a creamy, elegant base that feels comfortably close to the skin yet still memorable. Projection is moderate in the opening — noticeable without being overpowering for first couple hours — and the scent sticks around nicely, typically lasting 6–8 hours on my skin overall, with a softer trail as it dries. Rating: 6.9/10 To me this drew similarities to JPG Le Beau Le Parfum and Lattafa Asad Zanzibar — both of which also lean into rich creamy facets. Where this feels slightly different is in its ongoing creamy heart and warm woody finish, giving it a smoother, gentler evolution rather than a sugary or heavily boozy twist. If I have to nail a scent, it’s a much more polish version of Asad Zanzibar but of course much better. Overall this delivers a distinctive, wearable scent that feels cozy, modern, and slightly luxurious — especially well suited for cool weather or evenings when you want something smooth and inviting. It’s far from being one of the “big boys” in the line like Intense, Extradose, Coral Fantasy etc, it’s took a step back for me not forward. It’d be quite low in the list; this is still a lovely scent but nothing compared to the others, coconut is great though I have to admit.

@Sean Kavanaugh definitely worth if it’s coconut you seek, very prominent. Once it becomes a skin scent, coconut is all I can smell.

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Elixir parfum
Fresh, bit spicy (nutmeg), citrus (bergamot, mandarin), aquatic, bit floral, green (violet leaf) opening There is a leather nuance that creeps in a short time later.. subtle, soft, toned-down but it is there.. Closest to the EDP flanker.. imo More mature, more serious, and versatile than than edt and profondos Good projection and sillage Great for office and best of casual outdoor events or nights out Best for Spring and Summer Woody, bit smoky (vetiver), earthy (patchouli), bit ambery dry down Rounded square silhouette bottle; deep black lacquer colored; magnetic cap; great atomizer; refillable bottle Great longevity Prominent for 2-3 hours hours and stays as a mild skin scent for 4-5 more hours Great overall performance I would recommend ADG Elixir ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mysterious-Magnetic-Mesmerizing.. The biggest drawback is the 50mL-sizing and the attached price tag..
