I am working to shift the global narrative around suicide, moving away from the idea of suicide prevention, and towards the cause of life preservation. Think of it this way; They don’t call it an anti-drowning jacket. No, they call it a Life Preserver. And imagine the heralded American Foundation for Suicide Prevention changing their name to the American Foundation for Life Preservation. Words matter!
The Simple Follow-Up That Gets You Booked
Hi folks, Most speakers lose out on gigs not because they’re not good—but because they didn’t follow up. Here’s how to do it right: The 3-Part Follow-Up Framework:- 1. The Thank You – Send a note within 48 hours after a gig or meeting. 2. The Reminder – 2–3 weeks later, share a win or new resource they’d find helpful. 3. The Ask – Around 4–6 weeks later, ask directly if they’re booking for upcoming events or know someone who is. Speaker Tip of the Week 🎤 Professional persistence beats passive waiting—every time.
