You could have it ALL and still be miserable…
So why not take some time today, right NOW, to connect with JOY and GRATITuDE, and maybe even a dash of DEEP Peace?! Having goals and things to strive for is wonderful…it can give purpose, meaning, and direction to our lives. But, if we WAIT to reach our goals to experience joy, fulfillment, and peace, we may never get to those feelings. The goals we have may not be as fulfilling as we expected when we actually attain them, and… There will always be new goals around the corner to strive for. You can spend a lifetime WAITiNG to feel GOOD. And yet, joy and gratitude are available to us at every moment. We just need to slow down and allow ourselves to feel them. It’s important to create goals and work towards them. And it’s equally important to build our CAPACITY for feeling good along the way. Like anything, the more you practice feeling good, and taking time for joy and positive emotions, the better you get at it! If there is an inner, emotional block to feeling GOOD, there are tools that can help you move past the block… Tools like Tapping, Prayer/Meditation, the emotional tools created by Dr. Laurel Mellin, and many such tools ⚒️ What’s one way that you can slow down and give yourself the experience of JoY, or maybe even BLISS today?

Very true...been there...did not stay!!!
The “E.A.S.Y.” Question I Need To Ask More Often!
A quote I LOVE the sound of… and still need reminding to actually live 😅 “Ask yourself, ‘What if it were easy?’ Then go ahead and do that.” Tim Ferriss So naturally… I made an acronym 👀 💚 E.A.S.Y. ✨ ENJOYABLE Sometimes we accidentally make healthy habits feel harder by focusing on everything we won’t enjoy. “What if this was easy?” might look like: 🥔 keeping meals simple 🌮 repeating favourite recipes 🎧 listening to a podcast while food prepping ☀️ walking outside instead of forcing yourself onto cardio machines you hate Healthy doesn’t need to feel miserable to “count.” ⚡ AUTOMATIC You know what makes things feel REALLY hard? Overthinking them for three hours before doing nothing 😅 “What if this was easy?” might look like: 👉 immediately chopping vegetables after groceries 👉 setting a pot of lentils on to cook while making breakfast 👉 putting workout clothes on before motivation arrives 👉 scheduling the thing instead of mentally wrestling it daily Tiny automatic actions save enormous mental energy. 🌱 SUSTAINABLE Setting the bar too high can secretly become procrastination and perfectionism. “What if this was easy?” might look like: 💪 a 15-minute workout 🥗 one EASY tray-bake meal to have on repeat this week 📹 one imperfect video instead of waiting to become confident first 🚶‍♀️ consistency over intensity The best routine is rarely the most impressive one. It’s the one you’ll actually keep doing. 🫶 YOUR BEST INTERESTS Some things feel easy now… yet become heavy later. Future-you matters too. “What if this was easy long-term?” might look like: 🌈 keeping healthy food visible and ready 😴 protecting sleep 💚 choosing habits that support your energy instead of draining it 🥙 learning a few EASY healthy meals that make eating food that loves your body back feel realistic instead of overwhelming The older I get, the more I think “easy” is underrated. Not because life should be effortless. Because unnecessary struggle is exhausting 😅 I'd love to know: Where could you make life 1% easier this week?

@Vasi Smith Thanks !!! I do love it!!!
Food is a STATE changer
I’m not talking leaving Mississippi to go to Florida! Food literally changes our internal reality and experience of life. That’s one of the reasons it’s so hard to let go of it as a coping mechanism. It’s an incredibly effective state changer. It can pick you up when you’re feeling tired. It can relax you if you’re feeling anxious and irritable. And to be frank, it’s totally fine to use food to change your state SOMETIMES. If you’re feeling hungry, having food can help you to feel satiated and nourished. That’s a change in state too! When you’re hungry is a great time to use food to change your state! The problem is when food is the ONLY state changer that we know, or the only one that works well. When food is the ONLY thing we know to turn to when things feel challenging, it’s easy to over do it, and we can actually hurt ourselves in the process. Feeling overly full is NOT a joyful state to be in. The good news is…there are MANY other state changers. The more we practice them, the more they become a viable option to turn to when we need to change our state. These are some of my favorite state changers… -Meditation/prayer -Walking in nature -Singing in any way, even if it’s super loud and off-key -Dancing in any way, even if it doesn’t look “beautiful” from the outside -Sleep -Taking a bath -Changing scenery…going somewhere different, experiencing something new -Connecting with a beloved person by talking or hugging -Listening to music -Any kind of exercise What are your favorite non-food state changers? How and when do you like to use them? Which one would you like to do more of in your day-to-day life?

Thrive is going BIGGER, bolder, and maybe a little Crazy??
It's always been a passion of mine to connect people for mutual THRIVING. It's been fun doing that in the realm of health and wellness, in this community. I'm leaning into connections more as I rebrand this community and create a bigger platform for all the amazing health and wellness professionals who have gravitated towards this space. There will still be posts about fasting and stress eating, and weekly support groups to navigate all of it, and I'm absolutely available for one-on-one coaching for anyone needing support in those areas. That's my jam, and none of that is going away! If you need support with any of that, direct message me today, I'm here for you :) My hope is that this transition creates more VALUE for all of us... Those of us seeking support with health and wellness, we get to learn more about the resources and opportunities available here. Those of us working in health and wellness, we get more of a platform to share knowledge/expertise and support others. It's a bit of an experiment...we will do it for 1-3 months and see how it goes. In that spirit, this is actually going to be the last Move and Market Monday. You're of course welcome to post something today if you'd like! After today, this category morphs into Value Posts. From now on, you will actually be able to post your offerings or your community DAILY in THRIVE, as many times as you'd like. There are a few guidelines... 1.) Anytime you share your biz, you can create a Value Post with the Value Post tab. You can share your biz when posting in other categories/tabs too, but it's important that you're adding value to the group with any post that you share, not just dropping a link. Your post can be a question, conversation starter, or tip/trick/experience to help people up level their health and wellness. As part of the post, you can link to your community or other offerings. I suggest changing it up, so you're not always including a link with every single post. For example, the following would NOT be a value post...posts like this would get deleted.
