Close and in multiple exposure mode
Found this technique quite interesting to play with. This is to create an impression, not reality.

@Mark Sturtevant thanks Mark
Godox ringflash
Is the Godox ringflash ML 150 II Macro reliable and useful or underpowered? - I need to use something as a frontal fill-in? Any feedback is appreciated. thank you.
@Mark Sturtevant thank you, I have commercial Strobex ringflashes but they are 5000 joules and too large, I know what they do and operate. A personal view of a godox user is more helpful, I'll look into reviews, thanks Mark.
Photographed the old flowers backlit on windowsill with daylight, used a blue light from the left above to add that blue light, then saturated the bunch and played with those saturation settings until I got this effect, no tricks. This is the original capture 1/6 sec exposure on tripod with macro 100 mm lens at F 16, 100 ISO spotmetered.
🦎Do You Edit for the Final Destination?
These three images show my approach to editing Barry’s tail: 1️⃣ The original, unedited photograph 2️⃣ The finished edit for my website and prints 3️⃣ A separate vertical crop composed specifically for Instagram 🎨 Both finished versions were edited in Lightroom using my Macro Workflow V4 presets. Do you create different edits or crops for websites, prints and social media or do you use one master edit everywhere? 🤔 And which finished version do you prefer: the wider website and print composition, or the vertical Instagram crop? Let me know why! 👇

One decisive crop for all purposes, it is me to please, not my audience. Second image is my choice. Thank you.
Phantom quartz
A close up image of a stunning phantom quartz crystal. Backlit with small rig and using an aperture of F22 to keep the quatz sharp. Mixed with background image of crystals out of focus. Do like to make an image that is not just documenting reality.

@Dinah Ray these subtle differences in colour and focus make the phantom quartz stand out more!
