Hi! I started my quilting/textile art education channel just under 18 months ago, and this morning I passed 9000 subscribers. Thanks so much for your videos, Alexa!

After reaching the 2000 subscribers milestone last Monday, I launched a video last night. That video reached over 1500 views in the first 24 hours, and, maybe more important, almost 65 watch hours. Knowing that YouTube expects 8000 viewing hours as of february next year, I am trying to reach the 4000 viewing hours before the deadline. It is challenging enough as it is. Since I have a small automotive channel, it is important to bring fresh content. In this case, it is a new project car that I bought last weekend. It has featured in a first video last Monday and also in the video I put out yesterday. Officially I am still recovering from open heart surgery that took place at the beginning of June. Nevertheless, I feel fine and decided to pursue buying the car and use it as a vehicle (pun intended) to create more content for the channel. So far so good, and therefore I count it as a win. Hi everyone 👋 I’d like to start the week by shareing a win from this week. We’ve been exploring whether we could use AI to develop an app for the Danish and international market. That experiment has now become to Vagtplanen.nu, which I’m sharing below. What makes this particularly exciting is that both the app and its marketing video were created with the help of AI. To me, it demonstrates how far the technology has come: You can move from an idea to a working product—and create the marketing around it—much faster than before. It has also made me think differently about video production. Instead of always recording, editing, and producing YouTube videos manually, AI can now help with large parts of the process. It doesn’t replace the human perspective or a strong idea, but it can make bringing that idea to life significantly easier.
