This might be awhile. lol. I’m doing mattress stitch between panels. The panels are 190 rows each, and I have 5 panels. I know that’s not much, but my hands cramp up and go numb after a short time. The darning needle is at least thicker and easier to hold than a regular needle and thread. However… I’ve got it started and I’m excited to get it finished! Might be several days, but I’ll get there!

Tried some strips...instead of cutting every strip I kept the two colors connected for the hat...that technique worked very well.

The light saber toys are finished.

Well, I don’t hate it, but I certainly don’t love it either. It’s just “okay“. It came out so wonky. If I ever make another like this again I know that I will need to have some type of loom that doesn’t bend and get distorted. The blocking boards that I used were just too flexible.I also need a better way to sew the edges together so that I can put a nice binding on. This binding is a little wonky, just like the rest of the mat. lol
