The Seiko Alpinist is out for fieldwatch Friday. The variation in shades of green that this dial gives off is amazing.

The San Martin GMT is providing the sass today, temperatures are rising over here so a cool white dial seemed like a great choice.

Happy Field Watch Friday! Going with one that I have not worn in a long time and should have maybe saved for "Neglected Watch Thursday" next week. But it's already on and have the photos taken, so here we are with my Timex Expedition Camper Field Watch. This is a great one — small on the wrist at 38mm, ultra lightweight, easy-to-read, easy hook-and-loop strap not to bang on the edge of my laptop all day, Timex Indiglo function plus lume hands, 100m (330 feet) water resistance, and a sharp look with the all-black design all for less then $35 a year-and-a-half ago. With Autumn here (hopefully the temps agree at some point) followed by Winter and with darker wardrobe colors coming back out, this little black one will definitely be getting more wrist time in the months ahead.
