Wanted to share my dowsing rod experience, I’m super stoked over being able to do it! After my thrift store experience I brought a few items home - smoke cleansed them as soon as I got home. The boyfriend noticed before me but the front door kept sounding like someone was hitting it - honestly thought it was kids with a ball (thuds sounded like if it got kicked against the door). No kids playing near the door (apartment). I had cleansed the entire house and myself after we got home as well. Everything felt fine to me, offered to do some sage and other stuff at like 11pm but we decided to see how the night went and see in the morning. Woke up and all was quiet. I remembered hey I have dowsing rods why not try it out?! See if anyone is here… - when doing divination please use spiritual hygiene (cleanse, protect aces shield!) and have clear boundaries on who can come through… you may call in something you do NOT want! - You need to “program” your rods - state and physically move them to show how your like yes/no to be shown. I repeated this 3x (just felt right now other reason honestly). - I also asked various questions I knew the answers to already (Control questions). Am I 32yo? No (I’m 41). Is my son 9yo? No (he’s 2). - Also, I say thank you after every response as I’m hammering away at questions. - Please make sure you close that communication door… use spiritual hygiene. If you leave it open it’s like leaving your front door open! All sorts of shit can wander in, since leave in their own other things will need to be forcibly removed. I asked if anything was present -yes. Well ok then! Are you an ancestor? Yes. Are you male? No. Female? Yes. Are you the spirit I see daily as an orb? Yes. Are you the female I would call “Sarah”? Yes. Are you my daughter? Yes. Is my grandpa around me? Yes. Is he currently? No. Is my dad around me? Yes. Is he currently? No. My, my, my! I took a breather at that point because I’ve never had direct instant feed back before… I go back after ~30min. I start with asking if it’s ok to ask more questions? Yes (I feel it’s important to ask permission first, idk if other ppl do it just felt right). I ask if anything was attached to the dishes I brought from the thrift store? Yes. Did it come inside? No. Did the protection work I’ve done on our home keep it out? Yes. Was my protection oil was successful? Yes. Was the banging on the door it trying to come in? Yes. Is it gone now? Yes.

I know multiple people in here are empaths, so I thought I’d share this fun experience today… I decided to go thrifting today! Really been wanting to go to see what potential altar items would “call” to me. Went to a local Goodwill store and as soon as I’m in about 6-10’ ft I start to feel uneasy nothing horrible but definitely feeling slightly overwhelmed. Make it past the clothes to the kitchen & home accessories area and I’m very overwhelmed emotionally… I mean I’m fighting back just breaking down and sobbing. I’m blinking back tears repeatedly and nauseated. Feel on the verge of a panic attack but mostly like my heart is being torn from my body - like grief. After I couldn’t handle it and with some silver plated serving dishes in hand I make my way to the register. The closer I get to the front door and further from the bulk of items I feel the heavy emotions start to fade. I get outside and in the car, just a little linger while I head to Walmart (because fuck that, no more thrifting for today!). By the time I got in Walmart I was back to normal. As soon as I got home I cleaned myself and my new to me items. Instantly they felt lighter. Anyone else experience this? I’ve never had this happen with “items” - people? Yes! Items? No! Well, today was a first in feeling emotions from items. That was absolutely awful!

I’m really stoked to be here to learn and grow alongside with whoever sees this post. My dad and his dad before him practiced Chinese herbal medicine during the world war but also injected energy work to heal others. But I always felt it was more towards witchcraft as I always felt drawn to magic, spells, potions, and witchcrafts simply felt comforting to me when I work with the moon’s energy. I need to explore other options so maybe it’s whipping up new potions, or sprays to help? Always felt like an outcast no matter how hard I try to fit in, but my journey keeps rerouting me to be alone and work on myself. I don’t complain of feeling lonely. However, everyone needs someone sometimes. That’s why I’m here. I always believe everything happens for a reason and not every question demands a response.
