Different Tie Knots
I was thinking about different tie knots and learning to do another and was disappointed to see the classes in the classroom are locked behind the premium membership pay wall now even though they were free when I signed up. But, anyways I digress I was wondering how often people break out specialty knots other than the traditional 3? I use the Windsor a lot but I like to break out the Trinity and Eldridge for special occasions.

OOTE - Chinese New Year
We’re celebrating the Chinese new Year by having friends and family over for games, fortune readings (as a scientist, you can guess how I feel about those!), and lots of food. My outfit was originally for Valentine’s evening but I ended up being under the weather. Given the prominence of red, I felt like pink was a close second! Details Shirt: Savile Road Co. Winchester shirt in pink puppy tooth pattern Suit: Ralph Lauren green label tan suit with a basket weave Belt: Hanks belt in Havana brown Shoes: Thursday Boots double monk strap in cinnamon with brass buckles Socks: Pink mid calf Southern Scholar Cufflinks: Nordstrom pink and purple checks on a silver chassis Watch: Green faceplate on a Fossil Watch with dark brown leather strap

very sharp
Before and after mink oil
These boots are easy to scuff and scratch. I gave them a coat of mink oil. Although it darkens the leather, at least they are consistent and I'm not sure there are too many options with these besides some sort of oil.

Came out great
Are these sleeves too baggy?
And would shortening the sleeves likely fix the bagginess?

I agree with @Chad Smith
How is the fit?
When even a linen dress shirt is too hot and a t-shirt too casual, the polo bridges the gap. I think untucked is more functional in hotter weather but tucked is more formal. Although, I like the look of untucked a bit better probably because of the way it fits. This is an XS sized polo in a 'Sports fit'. The fit is great Allan. It looks to me like you may be long in the torso. The tucked in look highlights this especially with the lower rise on the pants. The belt make a clear distinction of this. This may be why you like the untucked look better. This could all be camera angle but if not. It might be worth looking into pants with a mid rise. Overall, its a nice outfit, fit is great and the colors suit you well
