Took the Score Your Community quiz? This is the thread. Drop your scorecard in the comments. Haven't yet? Eight questions, about three minutes: https://skoolology.netlify.app/ The quiz gives you a Copy my scorecard button, so pasting it here takes two taps and a quick comment. 1) Add your priority area and the first move you're making this week 2) Search comments for others with similar challenges Builders working on the same area will find you in this thread, and that is the entire point of this room. A few things to know before you post: 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. Our own community read low on its first pass through the framework. A score is a map of where to work, not a grade on you, and the builders who post honest numbers are the ones who improve fastest. Nobody in this thread is keeping score on you. The framework already did, and now we get to work. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱. If your numbers came back strong but your community isn't booming yet, it means one of two things. Either the room is strong inside and people can't find it, which is a Reach problem, and Reach has different fixes than Build. Or the grading was a little generous, which happens to everyone scoring their own work, and the capstone in the course cures it with one rule: evidence for every number. Post your scorecard and say which one you suspect. Both are fixable, and both are more common than booming. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰, 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘆. You do need to be a member to comment or post. Some courses are in the private part, members only. So, share at whatever level feels right. The full scorecard is great if you're comfortable with it. If you'd rather keep your numbers private, one line does the whole job: "I scored lowest in Kinship, and I'm working on it this week." That's all the right people need to find you.

I appreciate the feedback @Todd Thornton and @Donna Thornton , and this may sound odd, but my engagement rate is an organic rate. Outside of the benefit of being promoted by Skool, I could run incentives for engagement, but is that the goal for this community - I wonder? My premium community is starting soon, I get growing that. What the data is showing us in AI Bits and Pieces is organic engagement from the content. In short, people like the way I explain AI, especially as beginners. As part of my consulting service, I provide free AI education to all employees free via AI Bits and Pieces. One client has over 100 employees in my community. Therefore, I am very careful about running incentives, product promotions, hard selling of books, etc. I also don't offer in AI Bits and Pieces may "make money" methods, education, etc. I suspect that drives allot of interest. My target audience is people looking for a trusted source for the AI Curious, AI Enthusiasts, and AI Practitioners. I am not targeting builders, agencies looking for sales advice, or enterprise AI services - this is what my premium community and consulting agency offers. The goal is to have higher quality conversations and build relationships. I have 10 very dedicated members, all with different skills, that contribute to comments and posts on occasion. In addition, AI Bits and Pieces brings accomplished community owners that specialize in Claude Code, Intellectual Sovereignty, AI OS, AI Sales, (like @Muskan Ahlawat), etc. AI Bits & Pieces is about helping people in life and in business adopt AI with confidence. Food for thought. Open to feedback.

📌Welcome to Skoolology!
We're so glad you're here. 👋 If you're building a community and wondering... - Why aren't my members engaging? - What should I improve first? - How do I build a community people don't want to leave? You're in the right place. Skoolology is a learning community for community builders who want to stop guessing and start improving. Together, we study what works, test ideas in real communities, and learn from each other's experiments. Before we talk about your community... Let's get to know you. 👋 Your first step takes about 10 seconds. 👇Drop ONE WORD in the comments below. It might be: • A value you live by. • A word that describes the community you're building. • Or simply a word that's meaningful to you today. We'll create something special from your word and welcome you personally. ❤️ We read every single one. Your next step When you've posted your word, head over to the next pinned post and take the 5-minute Community Snapshot. It will help you discover exactly what to improve next. Welcome! Donna & Todd Learn. Build. Lead.

Let's Welcome Uttam!🎉
Welcome, @Uttam Singh ! Glad you're here. Your focus on turning ideas into systems caught my attention. That's a perspective I think will add a lot to our conversations. Since you're preparing to launch your community, you've joined at a great time. Much of what we're exploring is about helping community builders create strong foundations before growth becomes the focus. Don't hesitate to ask questions as you build. We love sharing experiments, lessons learned, and practical ideas. Welcome to the Growth Lab!

Welcome!
💡 Research Note
One pattern we're beginning to notice... People don't click on information. They click on possibility. A recent conversation about classroom modules caused us to stop and think. Changing a title from: Getting Started to Set Up Your Offer in 20 Minutes doesn't change the lesson. It changes what members expect to gain. That made us wonder... How often do we describe what we're teaching instead of what someone will be able to do after they've learned it? When people can picture their first win, they're much more likely to take the next step. 🧪 This Week's Experiment Choose one part of your community. It could be: • Your About page. • A classroom module. • Your Welcome post. • A pinned resource. Ask yourself: Does this describe the topic...or the outcome? Can a new member picture what will be different after they engage with it? If you've already chosen an experiment for this week, stay the course. Don't switch directions because a new idea comes along. Save this one for another week. Consistent experimentation teaches us far more than trying everything at once. 🔬 Research Question Where in your community could you make the outcome more visible?
