Hey everyone, I need help. On my girlfriends 2014 X3 we had a wastegate actuator failure, which is covered by a TSB and her paid warranty. However, I pulled the oil filler cap and initially there is a slight vacuum but once the cap is fully off there is positive pressure, which I classify as significant. I removed the oil filler cap because we had misfire codes and dangerous exhaust codes. We took the vehicle to BMW for the warranty work on the wastegate actuator but they claim that the positive pressure from the valve cover is normal for all BMW engines. I'm worried its blowby. The service information I have access to, prodemand, mentions nothing of positive pressure in the pcv system as I am explaining it.

A/C machine
So most of you may know I’ll be heading to Florida soon and I would guess the number of A/C work should go up. What A/C machine should I consider for 134A and 1234YF?

I’m a Puerto Rican version of you dude. I’m passionate too and talk very much like you. My 2 cents. 1. Your time IS valuable and your knowledge is valuable. Is there way to make an entry level group much like what you have now but for say 10 bucks a month? My company is new as well and we all know the sadness with all that. 2. Make the second tier group for advance topics, theories, practices. Let that be the 30-50 a month group. 3. You gave out a lot of free information that could have sat behind a paywall that I for sure would have paid for. I think what you are doing is great and I want to continue in this community. I want to pay for your time and participate with everyone. Maybe consider Tier groups from novice to advanced. My opinion is that at even 10 bucks a month it’s worth being a part of this group at the basic level. #GOYA
