Mortal Kombat - from Rackaracka
@Alan Brash @David Hinnebusch @Chris Dyer We talked about this in the New Member Coaching today... a YouTube short that broke out and was part of what lead Danny and Michael Philippou aka Rackaracka to break into making mainstream horror like the fantastically dark Talk to Me. This is intense, so you've been warned!

It helps explain why i haven't heard of them, though. Australia has had a fair bit of success with horrors in recent years.

Hi all, I'm based in Auckland, New Zealand & have been in the industry here for 30+ years. A while back I had about a decade of professional writing/development - mostly TV (including creating 40 ep's of a prime-time dramedy called The Strip). However, to pay the bills (& help raise a family), I've worked more often as a production accountant or financial controller in film/TV. My goal is to earn more through creative endeavours (writing/producing) than I do through accounts! Which, despite rumours to the contrary, isn't at all creative! I have a domestic thriller & a holiday rom-com (both features) that I'm working on, as well as a number of other ideas & "bottom drawer projects." :)
