Roast the Video on my About Page
Hi roasters. I am not done implementing the roasts on my home page yet (that was this post), thanks a lot for the great insight!!! I placed a video on my About Page explaining what we do inside The Calm Engine. I would love to get your roasts! This is the link to my About Page PS: I created this Video to go on my YouTube Channel, but for the 6th time my YT was closed again, and appealing never helped me before, so I guess I need to say bye to YT.

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster Very good points, Paulo. With the caveat that I wonder whether the VSL shouldn't be earlier in the "funnel". By the time a prospect arrives at the about page, I'm thinking an overview of the community is perfect so they know *what* they're buying into. They've already heard the *why* from the earlier VSL (on IG? YT?).
Roast my VSL!
I know it's low quality. It's V 0.1 of a VSL. It's 1 am. I intend to keep trying again and definetelly will keep doing it again with better equipment once I buy it. I said before I woudn't do it, but I'm a hypocrit, and I'm always learning and correcting myself.

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster Here's some possibilities: Top Synonyms for Pitch (Noun) - Proposal: A formal plan or suggestion. - Presentation: A formal delivery of information. - Spiel: An informal, often fast-paced, sales talk. - Sales Talk/Patter: Persuasive, routine speech designed to sell. - Proposition: An offer or idea presented for consideration. - Elevator Pitch/Speech: A concise summary of a proposal. Top Synonyms for Pitch (Verb/Action) - Present: Formally introducing a proposal or plan. - Promote: Publicly advocating for a product or idea. - Propose: Putting forward a plan, such as a project. - Sell/Pitch an idea: Convincing someone to adopt a perspective. - Submit a bid: Formally offering a price or proposal. - Tout: Bragging about or pushing a product (often informal). - Plug: To promote, often used in media/advertising. Keep in mind: "Elevator Pitch" is not advised.... Nor is to "Pitch an Idea"... 🤣

Here's a few: Brand Like a Boss I doubt any of us need to be introduced to this fantastic Skool, but just in case there's anyone lagging behind: Learn how to make presentations that are fun and professional at the same time, from the inimitable Lion Fludd. Non-Negotiable Growth Helping Skoolers grow their community and revenue by ensuring their highest ROI tasks get executed every single day using the Non-Negotiable System. Serious intent, but done in a fun way by a genius Gen-Zer from whom even us old-folks can learn a thing or three. Skoolyard Learn how to make money on Skool without social media, paid ads or cold DMs. Very fun, light-hearted and a great place to meet good folks struggling with the same questions you might be, as a Skool owner.

@Lion Fludd It does!!!
The worst possible moment to start doing YouTube!
Is "NOT NOW". Roast my first YouTube video. It's bad, but it was done and it's better than not doing it!

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster recommendation: get on a call with @Lion Fludd. I did yesterday, and he created a miracle. My first interview ever and it looks really really good. There’s stuff that I can use for my about page. Other things I can use in other places. It’s not at all easy putting together even a simple production like what you did. But working with Lion you can be certain it’s gonna come out good.
