🎉Celebrating 600 Members and Growing!
We just crossed 600 members in AI Bits & Pieces. Consistent growth from day one, fueled by people trying to understand what AI actually means for their work and day-to-day life—and how it can help them stand out in the workforce, business environment, or executive ranks. That’s been the goal from the start. A place for: 🔵 AI Curious — figuring out what this all is 🟢 AI Enthusiasts — using it regularly 🟠 AI Practitioners — applying it to real work 🟣 Enterprise — thinking about scale across teams What’s been interesting isn’t just the number—it’s the mix of people and the conversations starting to take shape. Members are building small things. Members are asking in-depth questions. And members are starting to connect the dots between tools and outcomes. A special shoutout to each and every member, and the people who have supported me from the beginning: @Michele Wacht @Dena Dion @Debra Schmitt @Patti Hoekstra @Mark Zayec @Matthew Sutherland @Jason Hagen @Usman Mohammed @Nick Mohler @Eduard Friesen We have some exciting updates and new offerings for the community designed to help you win the AI game in life, at work, as a business owner, or as an agency. A heartfelt thank you. Michael

Amazing stuff! @Michael Wacht it gives me great pleasure to see how you have watered the seed we discussed 9 months ago during our one on ones in August to the grown and growing tree it is now. Honoured to be a part of your journey. Congratulations!

🚀 Session 2: Watch Me Build a Full App with Claude Code using Natural Language (Recording)
We just wrapped Session 2 of our live build series and it was a great one! Starting from absolute scratch, we built a fully functional Task List app in under 10 minutes of total “cook time” using nothing but natural language prompts in Claude Code. No traditional coding. Just clear instructions and AI doing the heavy lifting. Here is everything we built in one session: ✅ Add, edit, and delete tasks ✅ Priority levels with color coding ✅ Due dates, categories, and status tracking ✅ Notes field per task ✅ Live progress bar ✅ Search, filter, and sort ✅ Collapsible completed tasks section ✅ Real SQLite database ✅ Runs locally on your machine The best part, while I was feeding Claude Code with prompts to build an enhanced Task List, several conversations broken out between @Matthew Sutherland @Bruce Kaufmann and I discussing many planning and building tips that only experienced builders could offer. The biggest lesson from today? Prompting is the new coding. If you can describe what you want clearly and in phases, you can build real working software — even if you have never written a line of code in your life. The YouTube video is now live. Go check it out and follow along. All the prompts we used are included. 👉 https://youtu.be/oJwNzUDzsIA?si=peazUxtSTJ8Y4rKA Session 3 is coming up on Monday. #ClaudeCode #VibeCoding #AIBitsAndPieces

💳 Quick Tip: /extra-usage discount for Claude Code
Claude is offering an extra-usage discount you can buy on demand. How to find it: just type /extra-usage in the terminal and hit enter and it will take you to the page to buy extra usage. The pricing: - $50 → Save 10% ($45.00 total) - $250 → Save 20% - $1,000 → Save 30% - Custom amount available The bulk discounts make sense if you're in the middle of a big project and can't afford to wait. The charges go to your saved payment method immediately, so you can get back to work without interruption. Just something to know about if you see that limit warning pop up mid-project.

@Michael Wacht got this one.
Why the Entire AI Industry is Talking About Claude Code.
If you follow AI news, you've seen it everywhere. Everyone is talking about "Claude Code" and "building without developers." Here's what's happening: People are building custom software by describing what they need in natural language. The barrier between "I need a tool" and "I have a tool" is getting very close to coming down. Where we actually are: To be honest, the current tools will probably be more comfortable for people that program or have programmed at some point in their career. However, people that are "technical", not "programmers" are now starting to build full applications by describing what they need. People like - myself. That's new. And it shows where AI is headed. Soon, the person who knows how to fix the problem will build the solution. With natural language. Here are some real examples: Community manager: Built a tool that tracks member questions and shows what content to create. Content creator: Built a system that writes posts for different social platforms. Support lead: Built a hub where the team gets answer from an AI Agent. These people aren't developers. They just understand their workflows. And that's becoming enough. Why this is different. Past "no-code" tools made you think like a developer. With Claude Code it is becoming more and more like a conversation: - "I need to track cancellations and see why people leave. "Tool gets built. - "Can it show trends over time? "Feature gets added. You're describing, not coding. However, as stated earlier, if you're not technical, this still feels like a stretch. But tools like Claude Code are making the conversation more natural. The barrier isn't gone. But it's thin enough to see through. Why pay attention now? Just six months ago you needed to code. Today you need to understand technical concepts. Six months from now: might just need clear explanation. So no, this is not “anyone can build anything” yet. But it is the first time that people who truly understand a workflow can realistically start turning that understanding into software.

@Michael Wacht I think whats more relevant to this forum with regards to Claude Code is something no one is talking about. I use CC like my personal executive assistant to get all my work done. Let me explain what I did this week. I had my annual stock audit of spare parts across my 6 service centers for my automobile business. The result from my external auditors was 18 complex spreadsheets with reports and summaries for each branch. Analyzing this and then getting it ready for discussion would take many hours over a couple of days. But ths time i just put it in a folder and gave it to claude code and i told what i needed done and lo behold in less than 12-13 mins i had a beautiful dashboard with the analysis and also a powerpoint presentation to a CEO(me) for giving the highlights and major focus areas. So @everyone what did u use claude code for today?
AI in Real Life: That Greek Yogurt Dip is 🔥 (Tabasco)
I’m on a new nutrition plan. More intention. More protein. Less randomness. And like most people trying to eat clean… I was staring at fat-free Greek yogurt thinking: “There has to be a better way.” So I asked ChatGPT for ideas. After a little back and forth, it suggested mixing Greek yogurt with Tabasco (Red Hot), cayenne, Celtic salt, and black pepper. Simple. Savory. Spicy. I added it to my chicken shawarma with a small pile of sticky rice. Holy smokes! It was creamy. It had heat. It didn’t taste like “diet food.” And when I ran the numbers? The macros looked good. • 200g chicken breast, no skin • 100g cooked rice • 100g fat-free Greek yogurt ~520 calories ~74g protein ~ Low fat ~ Controlled carbs That’s a serious, muscle-preserving bowl. But here’s the real point. AI didn’t cook the meal. It didn’t change my discipline. It didn’t magically make me healthy. It removed friction. It helped me turn something boring into something sustainable - and healthy. Nothing fancy. Nothing headline worthy Just making Wednesday night better. And when you’re building healthy habits, those small wins matter. ❤️ That’s AI in real life. Note: Thumbnail image created using ChatGPT "Create Image" feature.

@Michael Wacht @Nick Mohler you guys started; get me researching on sous-vide cooking. Very interesting technique. I did not know about this. Of course I don't cook; that I should actually know about this so yeah but it looks very interesting and while fasting it's got me very hungry.
