God Sees You
Seen, Known, and Set FreePsalm 31:7–8 “I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul… You have set my feet in a spacious place.” There is a kind of pain that words can’t fully carry. You can explain the situation—but not the weight of it.You can describe what happened—but not how it feels inside. In Psalm 31:7-8 I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a broad place. David doesn’t pretend everything is fine. He speaks honestly about affliction and deep inner anguish. But what changes everything is this: - God saw him.God knew him. Not just the facts—but the feelings. - God sees what others miss.He understands what others can’t fully grasp. He is not distant from your pain, .He is present in it.Then comes the promise, “You have set my feet in a spacious place.” - God doesn’t leave you in the tight, suffocating place of distress. He leads you into space, room to breathe, think, and begin again. That spacious place may not come all at once, but it comes. Today, if you feel overwhelmed, unseen, or trapped in your circumstances, hold onto this truth: You are not invisible to God. Your pain is not ignored. This is not where your story ends. Lord, thank You for seeing me fully and knowing me deeply. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are present in my pain. Lead me out of the tight places and into the freedom only You can give. Help me trust that You are making room for me to breathe again. Amen.

Why Demons Fear Psalm 91
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” I hope you read that out loud! If not, GO BACK AND READ IT OUT LOUD! Demons HATE when we speak Psalm 91! Here's why! Psalm 91 is not just a song or a prayer, it is a very powerful prayer; a legal declaration of Heaven's protection! Every line destroys fear! Every word activates angels! Thus, Hell TREMBLES WITH FEAR when a believer speaks it with FAITH! So, I'll ask you again... did you read it OUT LOUD and declare war against the demons of Hell or did you just read it quietly to yourself?

Welcome Our Newest Member
@Gordon Brooks Jr. Welcome to the community. This is a safe, no judgemental place. We talk about openly or privately about our faith, the Bible, any struggles we are having. This community is still in the process of growing. I am a Christian counselor if you need any help. You can learn so much from the members we have. If you have any ideas that would make this a better place, please feel free to share to share. Would you please introduce yourself, tell us about what you do, all that kind of stuff?

@Gordon Brooks Jr. When my girls were growing up, I tried to be the example for them of what a Godly husband and father should look like. I am happy to be able to say that all of my children (my firstborn was my son, Jason) are successful in life. None abuse drugs, alcohol or their spouses and children, and the only time they were ever in the back of a police cruiser was when they tried out mine to see what it was like "Behind the Cage!" 2 are Career Soldiers, 1 is an I.T. Tech with a major electronics firm and one is a part-time RN and full-time cattle rancher in Wyoming. I NOW have the pleasure to be that same example for my granddaughters and GREATgranddaughters! So, my answer to your question is; show them how a man who truly loves God and Family is supposed to act, so that when the time comes for them to choose theirs, they will already have the strength to lead, the wisdom to follow and the compassion to teach!

@Gordon Brooks Jr. AMEN AND AMEN! You have nothing to worry about brother! Remember, even with our children whom we have been given to shepherd, our job is not only to protect, but to seed-plant. If the ground is good, God will bring forth fruit, And from what I read, you have tended the soil well!
Learning Something New Everyday
I want to tell you something that not many people know about me. I love to learn. Growing up I wasn't the person who liked study. When it came to passing classes, I did just enough to get by. Especially in high school. I was too busy hanging out with the guys, playing baseball and chasing girls. I did enough to graduate. My senior year I even had a severe asthma attack that kept me in the hospital for a week. Then I missed school for a week recovering, but doing homework from school. My Grannie passed away after I graduated and that's when I fell into darkness for next 15 years. In 2013 I gave my life to Christ and He saved me from dying. He called me to be a Christian counselor. You've heard that God qualifies the called. I decided to go to college and learn more on Christian counseling. I couldn't stop learning. I graduated with a Ph.D of Philosophy in Christian counseling. I maintained the attitude of wanting to keep learning. I have learned so much since becoming a Christian by people God has put in my life. Just the other day I learned something from @Calvin Hall that just blew me away. If you haven't had a chance to read his posts or talk to him, your missing out. He is a very wise man. Today I learned something about John 20:30. We have all read about Jesus performing miracles. Did you know the verse and next verse tells us He did so much more that is not in the Bible. Jesus told us enough and people at that time to believe in Him. Yet there were still people who didn't believe in Him after seeing these miracles. Questions I have: Did you learn something new today? Would you believe in someone who performed a miracle right in front of you?

Thank you Brother for the kind words and encouraging others to read my posts. As for the wisdom you attribute to me, like you, I am very well studied. I hold a Master's in Theology and also in Music. But i have learned over my 68 years that knowledge and wisdom do not necessarily go hand in hand. Just because someone has studied extensively, does not equate to them having the wisdom to apply what they have learned. I thank God for the guiding and prompting of the Holy Spirit in everything i share in my community. Therein comes the wisdom. Not of myself but of He who sent me. I do not expect others to always agree with me. But if my writings make you THINK or further more, do your OWN research to find the truth, than my God-given purpose has been accomplished and I can rest well. God bless you and all who take the time to read this.
