Book Launch: Pip & Mira Celebrate Thanksgiving
I’ve loved watching @Madalina Covrig continue to publish and build out her catalog. She started with coloring books and has now created this beautiful fall release: 🍁 𝗣𝗶𝗽 & 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 🍁 This cozy coloring book follows Pip and Mira through fall traditions like apple picking, pumpkin patches, baking, family meals, and acts of kindness. With 24 illustrations inspired by Thanksgiving celebrations in both Canada and the United States, it’s all about gratitude, togetherness, and enjoying the little moments of the season. This is such a great example of why I always encourage you to 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. Every book gives you another opportunity to learn, improve, and reach new readers. 👏 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮! 👉 GO CHECKOUT THE BOOK HERE Go check out 𝗣𝗶𝗽 & 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 and show some love to a fellow author in our community. ❤️📚

🌮📚 Taco ’bout my book Tuesday! Today I’m happy to share a children’s colouring book I created for Thanksgiving: 🦃 Pip & Mira’s Thanksgiving Tradition Pip and Mira invite children into a warm Thanksgiving story about gratitude, family, sharing and the little traditions that make special moments memorable. 🤎 I wanted this book to be more than a collection of colouring pages. I wanted it to create an opportunity for children and their families to talk about what they are thankful for, what family means to them and how small acts of kindness can bring people closer together. Through Pip and Mira’s story, children can enjoy: 🎨 Creative colouring time 🦃 Thanksgiving-themed scenes 👨‍👩‍👧 Family conversations 💛 Gratitude and kindness ✨ A gentle story about meaningful traditions This project also became a personal milestone for me because Amazon encountered a technical issue while processing another book I had prepared. Instead of stopping, I continued working and finished Pip & Mira’s Thanksgiving book. Sometimes a delay simply gives another idea the chance to come first. 🫣 I’m very happy to finally share it with you, and I hope it brings a little warmth, creativity and gratitude to the families who discover it. The Amazon link is in the comments. 🤍 What is one Thanksgiving tradition that is special to you or your family? https://a.co/d/01hEVccq

Accountability Time 📖
We could all use a little accountability - Including myself ❤️ Read the questions then grab the template at the bottom and make a post 🗒️ 1️⃣ What is **one specific thing** you completed on your book this week? Examples: * Finalized my book topic * Chose my main keyword + category * Wrote 1,200 words * Edited Chapter 1 * Uploaded my manuscript draft 2️⃣ What is the one thing you can commit to finishing by next week? Examples: * Write 2 chapters * Finish book outline * Draft my book description * Collect 10 competitor book screenshots 3️⃣ One blocker - What slowed you down or got in your way this week? This gives you: * Content ideas * Coaching opportunities * Workshop themes * DM conversations for higher-level support 4️⃣ Where are you at right now? 🔥 On track 🟡 Progress but slow 🔴 Stuck 🧠 Overthinking ⏸️ Life happened Drop your update below 👇 (Keep it short — progress > perfection) 1️⃣ **One thing you completed this week:** 2️⃣ **One thing you’re committing to finish next week:** 3️⃣ **Any blocker slowing you down? (optional)** 4️⃣ **Status emoji:** 🔥 🟡 🔴 🧠 ⏸️ I’ll be reviewing these to and helping to move you forward!

1️⃣ One thing I completed this week: I finished my Thanksgiving colouring book, Pip & Mira’s Thanksgiving Tradition, including the cover and interior. 🦃🍂 2️⃣ One thing I’m committing to finish next week: Complete and prepare my Halloween colouring book, featuring Mallow & Puff. 🎃👻 3️⃣ One blocker slowing me down: Amazon experienced a technical issue with Lumi Travels Through Europe — Volume 1, so its publication has been delayed. I’m also balancing my full-time medical work and preparation for an upcoming neuroscience conference. 4️⃣ Status: 🟡 Progress but slow Still moving forward — just with a few unexpected detours along the way. 🤍

@Krista Brea I hope there’s another option. Since Amazon KDP recently changed its upload limits, I really don’t want to risk re-uploading Volume 1 and using one of my limited upload opportunities. I already uploaded the book, and the delay is due to a technical issue on their side, so I would rather wait for them to resolve it than upload it again. 🤍

@Stephanie Barron Thank you, Stephanie! I completely agree that having a clear list of projects and their current status can help with taking action. I’ve actually discovered that handwritten lists don’t work very well for me — I make them, admire them for a while, and then somehow forget to follow them. 😂 I’m much more likely to stay on track when I receive a notification on my phone or add the task directly to my digital calendar. That way, the reminder comes back to me instead of waiting for me to remember where I wrote it down. 🤍

📢 Important Amazon KDP Update for Authors
📌 This post is shared with Krista Brea’s permission. I wanted to share an important update from Amazon KDP that may affect anyone publishing books, colouring books, planners, journals or other products through KDP. According to Amazon’s official KDP announcement, starting Monday, September 21, 2026, authors can create up to: 📕 2 new Kindle eBooks per week 📘 2 new paperbacks per week 📗 2 new hardcovers per week The limit applies per format, not simply to two books in total. This means that an author could create up to two eBooks, two paperbacks and two hardcovers during the same weekly period. The weekly limit resets every Sunday at 12:00 AM UTC. A simple example Before September 21, an author might have been able to upload or create two, three or even four new books, planners or journals in one day, depending on their account and previous KDP limits. Starting September 21, that same author can no longer continue creating new titles at the same daily pace. The limit is now managed weekly: - Once two new eBooks have been created, the eBook limit is reached for that week. - Once two new paperbacks have been created, the paperback limit is reached for that week. - Once two new hardcovers have been created, the hardcover limit is reached for that week. The limit concerns the creation of new titles. Books that are already published or already saved as drafts are not affected. This is important to keep in mind when planning: 📅 Book series 📅 Seasonal releases 📅 Colouring books 📅 Planners and journals 📅 Multiple formats of the same project 📅 Holiday and special-event publications So, if you are preparing several books, it may be useful to plan your publishing calendar in advance and leave enough time for corrections, revisions and Amazon’s review process. I’m sharing this simply to help other authors avoid unexpected delays and adjust their publishing plans accordingly. 🤍
