76ers beat Boston in Game 7
Some of my takeaways from game 7… Tatum being out was the right move for his health especially considering his recent injury. I don’t think that affects the outcome of the series. If anything, you could argue the Sixers would’ve won the series sooner if they had Joel in games 1,2,3. Tyrese Maxey came thru in the clutch - something the 76ers (Ben Simmons, james harden) failed to do in the past. VJ edgecombe took 11 threes in a game 7 - that shows a lot of confidence as a player after having a rough series shooting. Knocked down 5 of them. Boston lives and dies by the 3. They died games 5,6,7… that’s the chance you take when you play the numbers game. Sometimes it just doesn’t work. Danny and I played in a 3v3 tourney last month. We played a team with a big man we couldn’t guard at all. We knew he would score everytime so we knew if we only shot threes, (worth 2) we would need to make 8 (game to 15) is the way to win if he scored 15 straight layups. Unfortunately we only went 5 for 20 and lost 15-10. That’s how the game goes sometimes. The Sixers also switched up their game plan mid series to shoot more threes. And limit bostons offensive rebounds, spray threes. They executed. I thought Jaylen brown settled for way too many contested mid range shots the whole series. Not efficient basketball. Paul George and kelly oubre are the perfect wings to matchup with the Celtics and now New York. I really believe the Sixers have the team to at least make the finals this year. I would love to see it, I think Joel deserves it. Drop your thoughts in the comments 👇🏼
CLA Approach in Training
Is a form of CLA use in a SSG saying you can only use a step back to the left to get a shot? I guess I’m confused on what is considered a constraint that would actually be useful to implement in a SSG that would help them in games.

If a player is a really good shooter - to force them to do something other than shoot in a SSG - you can say they only get a point if they get an assist off a paint touch or score in the paint. You can also use spacial constraints (sides of the court, lane lines, etc) to make the area players operate in a lot harder.
