My Future Self's Transformation ✨
I have always loved to dance, right from a young child. It took me to train professionally in performance and dance teaching at a musical theatre college. It then took me to travel the UK performing, and even oversees where I danced in up to 3 shows a day! I then was lucky enough to start to share my passion and love for the art and the movement in studios, teaching all ages from baby classes all the way up to adults who may have never danced before. But I wanted something more, I wanted to travel and I wanted to live somewhere sunny, and I wanted to be able to do all of these things but still teach dance, still help people on their journey. Whether they are a beginner who wants to have fun moving their body or whether they are a dancer seeking private coaching, and most of all I wanted to maintain these relationships where ever I was in the world and continue to help and dance with these people. So I took a leap, and I started an online community doing this. I started to meet people from all over the world who were taking my live dance classes. They were learning my choreography in different time zones and they were reaching their own personal goals alongside me! Now I am in Australia, I’ve moved to the other side of the world, and I’m teaching even more dancers! I’m helping people to learn the basics, and keep fitness as a positive experience. And I’m helping experienced dancers elevate their training with 1-1 classes and a personalised dance programme. And it’s now my sole income, I can travel whenever I want and live the dream in real life ✨ Here is my online dance community that I’m growing to be able to live this life, and experience this transformation story happen for real! If any body wants to check it out, I'd love to welcome you to join me and dance https://www.skool.com/dance-with-becca-8489/about 🕺

@Becca Turner 💜💜💜 I’m neurodivergent - my brain prefers the ‘big picture’ to ‘details’ and rejects memorization of dance steps. But I’m good improvising my own steps lol

@Vasi Smith I read the book by Gabrielle Roth before and very much enjoyed the idea! My dancing ‘practice’ was almost always part of a scenario play I did - I can’t separate the dance from everything else :)
Day 1- Not-Your-Typical Intermittent Fasting Challenge
You can read through day 1 here in the classroom. It’s available on Level 2…if you’re not there yet, just make a comment and like 3-4 people’s comments and you’ll be there in no time! Or you can watch the video below, that goes over Day 1 and Day 2. Each day’s tasks are pretty short, so you can choose to combine them into one day, or split them up and do one day at a time. Share your progress, thoughts, and updates in the comments below.

I twisted my ankle yesterday morning
Best not to twist ankles in the first place. But, I guess if you’re gonna twist your ankle, might as well do it as part of a Stem Cell Creating Fast, right?! I’m on day 4 of my fast. Stem cell creation generally starts at about 72 hours and continues on from there. I’m at about 93 hours right now. Usually, when I twist my ankle, the pain is worse the day after. The pain is actually LESS today and I can barely feel it most of the time. The stem cells are doing their work and I’m so grateful!! If you’re interested in exploring intermittent fasting, check out the resources available to you in the Classroom, like the 14-day Intermittent Fasting Challenge. You’re also welcome to join the chat about Stem Cell Fasting on Friday at 10 am MT/12pm Eastern. Doesn’t matter whether you choose to do it or not, it’s a chance to learn more if you’re at all interested. Get the link to join on the Thrive Calendar.

Sorry to hear about your ankle but happy the stem cells are helping! I had a serious ankle injury in the past and it took me over 6 months to recover :( But mine was not just twisted - I managed to break it too. However, everything heals. Hope yours heal fast 💜
Remembering Who I Was (before the world told me who to be)
For most of my life, I lived between two worlds. There was the world everyone seemed to accept... the logical, girl-boss, hustle-and-grind world of NYC, where sensitivity was a flaw and intuition was a liability. And then there was the other world...the one that was always quietly calling me to come home to myself. But I didn't know how to answer that call. Not yet. I was always moving...through countries, careers, and identities. My external life looked successful on the surface, but I knew I was holding it together with superglue and hope. My body eventually decided for me. Fibromyalgia. Chronic pain. A fog that made existing feel like an effort. My nervous system stopped cooperating with the life I was living. So I did what a lot of us do. I went looking for someone else to fix me. I tried everything. Traveled to sacred sites. Sat in circles. Studied shamanism, energy work...even walked on fire. I was doing ALL THE RIGHT THINGS...or so I thought. I'd left the corporate world that told me my intuition was a liability, and walked straight into a spiritual community that told me my healing depended on someone else. Different packaging. Same pattern. Same dynamic. Here's the thing. I had already found Reiki (or Reiki had found me). I'd been practicing it for years...just not on myself. I had the technology in my hands, and I kept looking for something better, something more, someone who could unlock what I clearly couldn't unlock myself. One evening at a Reiki healing circle, something finally landed. I had been chasing a magic healing pill instead of doing the work. That was my moment. Not a discovery that changed the trajectory of my life overnight...a decision that would shape my future. I stopped collecting certifications and modalities. I stopped looking for a guru who would show me the way. I committed to a daily Reiki practice in my actual life. Not a retreat version. Not a TikTok version. The real one. Showing up for myself every day. The pain began to ease. The fog started to lift. My sensitivity, which I'd spent years trying to manage or suppress, became information I could actually work with.

I like how you put it “to stop outsourcing my healing” and that you “weren’t broken to begin with”!! I realized the same as part of my journey 💜
What’s your Transformation Blueprint?
We all have certain preferences when it comes to creating change in our lives. Similar to a Jungian Personality blueprint (such as ENFJ), we also have a transformation blueprint. I don’t have a quiz for it YET, but it can be fun to just reflect on it. This is something I came up with while watching myself and my clients approach transformation and change in their lives. Answer the questions below to figure out your blueprint- share your blueprint in the comments, if you’d like :) You may find you relate to both sides of some questions, but maybe one side feels a little more familiar and comfortable. 1. ) Do you prefer to be a Rebel or a Follower when you seek out change? Rebels (R) like to do things their way. They don’t generally like being told what to do. They can tolerate following for a while, but eventually tend to find their own way of doing things even if others don’t agree with it or understand it. They do best with general guidelines that they can tweak to their own needs rather than a step-by-step system that has to be followed perfectly. Followers (F) LIKE a step-by-step system. They love following the rules. With a little guidance and a clear system, followers are on their way to positive transformation and change. They do great with concrete rules that they can just follow and not have to think too much about. 2.) Do you prefer to Do-it- Yourself, or do you like to Do-it-with- Others? Do-it- Yourselfers (Y)- often like to be lone wolves. They think more clearly when they’re on their own. They might enjoy coming together with others to share, but during the deep work of transformation, they like to be alone. They do great with lots of time by themselves, to try things and experiment, away from the attention of other people. Do-it- With- Others folks (O) - thrive in a group dynamic. They love to learn from other people’s experiences and to support those who are not as far along as they are. They thrive in a supportive, loving group environment. Finding groups and communities with common interests helps DIO oriented people transform with joy and ease.

Cool idea! Rebel to the extreme (Outlaw really). The second one is hard: I do it with others within myself (my inner parts/characters). I used to be all Action - but now I am all Stillness. More of a Feeler I guess. So RYSF… sort of lol 😂
