@Harsh Yadav 😆I disagree. Lowering the bar just because the overall average is low or because people aren’t able to push themselves into the top three doesn’t make sense to me. I think a top three is perfect. If you don’t make the top three, that’s life. Otherwise, it’s like saying, “Let’s give everyone a little something just for participating.” No. Pretty much everywhere, you have first place, second place, and third place. If you’re not in the top three, you lost. That’s competition. Maybe I’ll be one of those people. I probably won’t make the top three myself. But that doesn’t change my opinion: I think keeping it to the top three is perfect.

@Ecstacee Lor To be completely honest, I did go check it out, but I didn’t test it as much as I should have, for two reasons. First, I don’t really have any idea what it’s supposed to do. I didn’t quite understand the concept. That’s probably on my side, but it doesn’t seem very clear how it works or what it actually does. So I didn’t really test it much because I haven’t had a lot of time. I might give it another try later. That’s why there’s been such a delay in getting back to you about having tried it. Sorry about that.
QuickProof changes
evening on a mix of migration + bug fixes for QuickProof (the shipment-photo-documentation companion app to QuickQuoteTool): Migrated off a Raspberry Pi 4 onto Oracle Cloud's Always Free tier. Setup Cloudflare Tunnel on the new box, moved PayPal creds, VAPID push keys, and email-verification state over without any downtime for users.. Fixed a real mobile Safari bug: the Privacy/Terms/Support/Status pages were overflowing sideways on actual phones Settings redesign: the "Department Emails" configured department as a fully-expanded card directly in Settings — fine with 2-3 departments, miserable with 10+. Now it's its own screen (tap a menu row to open it), each department collapses to a one-line summary (name + email), and "+ Add another" moved to the top of the list instead of the bottom so it's reachable without scrolling server status page now reports "Hosted on Oracle Cloud" post-migration, in all 5 supported languages. Nothing user-facing broke, no downtime, and I've got measurements (not vibes) backing the mobile fix this time. 🙂

@Jeremy Lee thank 😁Can you elaborate? I'm pretty good at giving feedback—and receiving it, too 😁 I love hearing people's perspectives and overall experiences, and especially about changes or improvements that can be made.
🎤 What Did You Think of Cycle 2?
We’re already thinking about how to make Cycle 3 even better, and who better to ask than the builders who just went through Cycle 2? You spent 4 weeks building, shipping, demoing, and competing. You experienced the whole thing up close, so we want to know what worked for you, what didn’t, and what you’d like to see next. Here are some prompts to get you started, but feel free to go off script: - What was your favorite part of Cycle 2? - What was the most frustrating part? - What helped you the most while building? - Was anything confusing or unclear? - What should we do more of in Cycle 3? - What would you love to see added? Drop your thoughts below. Good, bad, or somewhere in between, we want to hear it. ✍️

@Laura Fluieraru Thank you so much! 😉 I’ve got a few things up my sleeve 😆, including a pretty big — and, in my opinion, slightly crazy — project that’s been sitting on my tablet for a very long time. I recently started dusting it off and taking a closer look at it 🤔, and I have to admit, I’m actually pretty excited about it. Even though some of the technical aspects — especially relying on free hosting — will probably give me a few headaches. 😅 But for now, let’s wait and see who the winners are 🤞🏻. It could be a real game changer for a lot of people, and futur app or mini I think.

@Luis Cajiao Wow, that’s really cool! I haven’t tried it myself, but just from the video, I can see exactly how it works. Wow, really great job! If you didn’t win with this, man, I’m honestly a little shocked.“So, I know my chances in the second round.”😆 But hey, I don’t know all the details. Still, I probably wouldn’t personally use it, but I can definitely see the usefulness. I mean, everyone I’ve known who played role-playing games, dice games, and stuff like that always had to visualize their character in their head. With this, they could actually see their character, with all the details and everything. Really, wow. That’s seriously cool. Great job. That’s all I can say — great job! 🙌🏻 Love it
Quickproof Server status
Oh, oh… I’m really glad I installed a server status page, because we can actually see that the server isn’t completely down right now, but there are some minor issues. If I had never installed it, we probably would have never known. So I’m glad I set it up, even though I’m a little disappointed to see that the server is having some problems. Looks like we’re going to have to fix that. 😅

Who do you think should win? 👀
Okayyy I know some of us are getting impatient for the results 😂 So while we wait… who do YOU think should win Cycle 2? 🏆 Only rule is that you can’t pick your own mini app😂 Drop the Mini App that most impressed you below and tag the builder! Let’s show each other some love while we wait 🙌

Wow, it a terrible idea 😆 But anyway, I think I’m going to go with nimicurl for the fun and casuel fin and look And the mini-app Takeover, because in my opinion, it has some pretty incredible potential. You just need to figure out exactly how to package everything into a polished, appealing product. But with real money involved, or if there were some kind of large-scale dynamic adaptation, yeah… I can definitely see something there. Even though they’re very suggestive and personal. Choice A lot of people who focus on gaming will probably prefer more mini-games and small casual experiences, while others will probably lean more toward something productive or useful in everyday life, or something designed for a specific field. ( like i am but since I can’t name myself ) But I’m still going to submit my two picks.
