Leadership
My wife shared this Bible verse with me over the weekend. It gave me a different perspective on delegating. EXODUS 18:17-23 What's wrong with trying to do too much? Moses was an enormously gifted leader, but he fell into the trap of believing he had to do it all himself. This story teaches us that it is possible to be too responsible. When we stretch ourselves too thin, we put not only ourselves at risk, but others also. We can wear ourselves out, make others wait, prevent those with gifts from having the opportunity to use them, and keep them from growing spiritually through serving others. In the process, God's people are dissatisfied and distracted, and God's work is delayed. Jethro's advice had been God's strategy from the beginning: delegation and discipleship.

One of the best lessons in the Bible.
July One-Page
July might be the most meaningful month that I've had in a very long time. My floor is significantly higher than a year ago. I should grow revenue by 100% and profitability by 3x+. I'm very close to 10x growth in the last two years if a couple of big opportunities get closed. I'm so excited for the future, and the clarity that I've been gaining over the last 12 months has been exceptional. I hope we can get back to more people on the calls on Friday as we get closer to the end of summer. Let's see some of your 1-Page.

July 2026 is in the books. Here's my monthly 1-page
Really didn't have the month I had hoped, but there was still progress. I appreciate this group. Any feedback is welcome. I'd love to see your one-pagers if you still put them together.

Hello all, I’m taking a break for a few weeks until my home situation is sorted out. Over the past few weeks, things have gotten overwhelming to the point I barely even get to my office. The house needs a tonne of work (DIY decoration, painting walls, moving furniture, restructuring rooms, clearing storage spaces, setting up workspaces), all the while navigating the intense emotional weight this place has for both of us, especially with bereavement. I’ve thought about it carefully, and I’ve written to the people I’m writing about to say that I’m pausing several commitments until I get things in order. It’s impossible to get things moving on my end when our home space is so difficult. It’s utterly draining, and we’re going to take time to establish a firm base to build from. Thanks to the Vision Processing, in particular, I know I have everything I need in place to get moving. I’ll get back into it once things are more settled. Painfully aware of all the stuff I need to do for myself and my work, but this has now become the work. Also, we were supposed to get married this weekend, but we had postponed it because of her mother’s passing. Instead of wedding bells, we were smothered with dust and wood filler–but loved it. In a way, I’m removing a bottleneck that’s preventing me from getting to where I want to be. I'm creating the conditions where I can actually follow through consistently rather than in a fragmented way. It starts at home. Appreciate all the accountability and encouragement this group excels in. Just wanted to be transparent and will be back with a stronger foundation. Thank you for understanding. P.S. Also sharing a couple pics from my office/studio. A few months ago, I set up a large drawing, and this is where it's at. I have, however, just taken this piece down to give me more space for clarity. I needed it to get started once I moved here, and I’ll return to it at a later date. Hope you enjoy!

Bless your heart. You’re doing the right thing. These are days of nourishment. Just like when we get sick, we need to drink and eat healthy foods and get rest to give our bodies the strength to return to health. That’s what you’re doing now. You’ll be in my prayers.
🔥😭 but I had a $20k week
I was just a few days away from getting my flame back….. NO… why does it hurt so much? Of course I’m happy I had a $20k week in B2B role. I was cooking this week and was with a client all day Thursday, plus a speaking event which turned into $5k before walking out of the room and booked 3 additional sales calls from that event. When I laid in bed around 9:45 pm Eastern, finally, exhausted but a good tired. You know what I mean? I knew I worked hard. I won big. And I grabbed my phone to hop on Skool and watch Skool news from the day before and check out all the wins from one of my Skool communities. That warm, anxious, dreaded feeling that courses from my head to my gut became the realization that was my first login for the day. 🔥🤦🏻‍♂️🙋‍♂️bye bye…. I was so close to getting 🔥 back. A matter of days. I’m pretty active here but the elusive icon has missed me. For you newbies, the struggle is real. People laugh that I make a big deal about the 🔥 but it gives me inspiration. It really does. Of course I’m happy with the revenue growth for the week. July will likely be the biggest billing month of my career doing leadership development. Once I convert my B2B clients over to my Skool Leaders Edge group, I will be going for different icons. 🔥🍀🥷💎🚀
