Saddle hunting tips for 60 inch recurves
Any saddle hunters here? do you have tips for hunting swamps full of branch coniferous trees?

Try and find tree you can climb and use all the conifers as cover that's my only advice.

@Grant Richardson saddles combined with all the high tech sticks and stands now they compliment each other. Can't speak for the 70s and 80s but I imagine it was heavy and clunky!
🔥THE 7-DAY INSTINCTIVE SHOT CHALLENGE - starts today!
Here's the deal... One task per day for the next 7 days. No fancy targets. No judge but yourself. Just you, your bow, and the process. HOW TO POST EACH DAY: When you complete your daily task, post in the comments below and start your post with your day number so everyone, including me knows where you're at. Example: "Day 2: 3 arrows at the 3D target. Two hits, one miss. Felt good on the follow-through." Include a photo or video of the task. Hits and misses welcome. This is about accountability, not perfection. (Veteran move is to use your audio to text button!) If you miss a day, jump back in on the current day. Don't wait. Don't restart. Just pick up where the group is. 🔥THE 7-DAY INSTINCTIVE SHOT CHALLENGE: Day 1: The Warm Up Shot Shooting for groups of 3 for a total of 12 arrows only at a blank bale. No target face. Focus only on your anchor point and follow-through. Do not pace off distance. Do not worry about where your arrows hit or your groups. Post: A photo of your setup (bow, bale, you at it). Day 2: Accountability Shot 3D or field target, unknown distance. No pacing. Shoot instinctive - do not aim. Post: Your result - hits and misses welcome. Shoot only 3 arrows, pull each one before the next. No groups. Day 3: The Hunting Shot Shoot from your knees. Five arrows. Don't worry about distance, range, or groups. Post: What did you feel hitting your anchor? Focus on consistency. Day 4: The Low Light Shot Last 20 minutes before dark. Five arrows. Close your eyes for 30 seconds before each shot. Shoot as far as you're comfortable - no range finding, no assistance. Change your shooting position every arrow. Post: What you saw - or couldn't see. Day 5: The Full Kit Shot Shoot in your hunting gear. Jacket, boots, whatever you'd wear in the field. Three arrows. Shoot from any position. Post: What did you notice different? (Draw length? Clearance? Range of motion?) Day 6: The One Shot, One Arrow One arrow Shot One arrow at a spot you've never shot from before. New angle. New distance. Commit. Shoot only one arrow. Keep your bow up for at least 30 seconds after the shot. Focus on follow-through.

@Grant Richardson Heard some yesterday morning. Getting quiet, although should be nesting season soon, they will be wandering.
A little research
Doing a little bit of thinking and research. Id really appreciate it if everyone drops a comment with your draw length, the actual weight you shoot and your preferred point weight. If you shoot wood arrows, what spine range do you use?

I draw a bit over 30" on my 53@29 bow. So pulling 55-56 likely. I have been using 190s for a while as a point weight. I go stiffer on the spine range cause of the arrow length 70-80 spine.
Euro mount of my first buck.
Finally got my first trad buck skull cleaned up by a local guy. He did a great job and I'm happy to have this to hang up on the wall.

🔔 "I've Been Quiet... Here's Why"
Hey Ethical Predator family 👋 I've been quiet in here for a while... and I owe you an explanation. The honest truth? Grant and I got caught off guard. The demand for the t-shirt club and the book completely outpaced what our fulfillment setup could handle. Orders were delayed. Mistakes were made. And instead of showing up in here pretending everything was fine, I went heads-down to fix it. That's what I do. I'm the one behind the scenes making sure this thing actually runs. For the past several weeks I've been rebuilding our entire fulfillment process from the ground up ...researching new partners, fixing the book side, fixing the shirt side, and making sure that when we make a promise to this community, we can actually keep it. We're not 100% there yet. But we're close. And what's coming is so much better than what we had. I'm not going to overpromise. What I will say is this... 👕 The t-shirt club is about to get a serious upgrade. 📚 The book fulfillment is being moved to a platform built for it. And Grant and I are more committed to this community than we've ever been. You stuck with us. We don't take that lightly. More updates coming soon...and I'm back. 👊 👉 Quick question for the community What would make The Ethical Predator Community an absolute must-show-up-every-day kind of place for you? More of Grant's hunting stories? Live Q&A sessions? Gear breakdowns? Member spotlights? A space to share your own hunts and get real feedback? Drop it below. We're listening and we're actually going to do something with your answers. 🎯 — Jenn

Looking forward to it, and staying involved. I think as we leave spring and head into summer with everyones eyes looking ahead to hunting seasons, it's the time to get more community things going again.
