Objective: To identify the major "big ticket" systems within any residential property that significantly impact renovation cost, market value, and overall habitability. This starts with understanding where the major capital expenditures (CapEx) lie. As wholesalers, we estimate repair budgets (ARV). The Challenge: Write down the five (5) major categories of property systems that typically represent the highest costs in a renovation. For each category, list at least one (1) critical component that makes up that system.
