๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ Let's play The Red Pen Game!!!
Every time I sit down to create a post... whether it's something for Homeroom, a promo for another community, or anything else... I always start the same way. Title first. CTA second. Content last. Because when you have your beginning and your end... the middle practically writes itself. Your content already has a map. It already knows where it's going. Remember in school when the teacher had you switch papers so you could grade each others work? That's what we're doing this week! ๐ŸŽ“ Here's how the game works ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿญ: Drop your title and CTA in the comments below ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿฎ: Go through the comments and grade at least 3 others using our grading system: โŒ = back to the drawing board โœ๏ธ = good rough draft โœ… = A+ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿฏ: Take the feedback, revise, and repost ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿฐ: Keep going until you're hitting A+'s ๐ŸŽ‰ The goal by the end of the week? A title and CTA that's ready to draw people in to start engaging!!

Today is the first day I've struggled...
Today is officially Day 50 for Skool Homeroom... and it's the first day I struggled. What do I post today? What's the current energy in the room? What does everyone need today? And I didn't have the answers. It got me to thinking about something... Sometimes building your community, keeping up the engagement, showing up and leading comes from intuition... - Intuition that you have from knowing your people - that comes from showing up consistently - from actually being in the room with them But sometimes we get stuck and that's when we need to fall back on your strategy. And if you don't have a strategy in place... when you have a day where you're struggling Everything just kind ofโ€ฆ stops. So now Iโ€™m curiousโ€ฆ For those of you building your Skool communities... What do you rely on more right now? Intuitionโ€ฆ or strategy? And what do you fall back on when you hit a day like this? ๐Ÿ‘‡

@Pamela Igwe your response just tickled me "not my favourite past time". I couldn't help it... I added a GIF because I was truly laughing at that response!!

@Pamela Igwe ya, I wish I could say it's easy to "get over it" but I did YouTube videos for well over a year and never really enjoyed it. I do enjoy it a bit more now being here in Skool Homeroom... it doesn't feel like there's as much pressure.
Iโ€™I'm asking something from this community todayโ€ฆ and I donโ€™t ask lightly.
This morning, during a CrossFit class, a dear friend of mine, Ilham, suffered a sudden brain aneurysm. She is now in surgery. Her son is by her side, facing something no child is ever prepared for. And I truly believe this: When people come togetherโ€”with intention, with prayer, with loveโ€”something shifts. So Iโ€™m asking you, from the heartโ€ฆ Whatever you believe in: ๐Ÿ™ Pray for Ilham โœจ Send healing thoughts ๐Ÿ’› Hold her and her son in your heart No explanations needed. No perfect words needed.Just a moment of genuine intention. Because sometimes, the most powerful thing we can doโ€ฆ is not nothing. Thank you for standing with her today.

Welcome to the Skool Homeroom! Start here... ๐ŸŽ
This community is built for people who want to actually learn, implement, and grow โ€” not just scroll and collect ideas. Before you jump into everything, take a minute to introduce yourself so we can get to know you. You can do this in one of two ways: - Create a new post under the Roll Call category and introduce yourself. - Leave a comment below this post with your introduction. A few easy prompts if you're not sure what to say: - Your name - Where you're from - What you're currently working on - One thing you hope to learn here - Your favorite Skool memory Then head over to the New Student Orientation module in the Classroom. That lesson will show you how everything in the community works and where to begin. As you engage in the community you earn points from other members responding to your posts and comments which will help you unlock your first mystery gift. Looking forward to meeting you. Roll call starts now ๐Ÿ‘‡

@Tina Niermeier well I'm glad that you have found me and joined my community... I appreciate surrounding myself with people who have the same bad habits that I do ๐Ÿคฃ
Posting great content isn't enough to create engagement. (Sorry.)
Build an amazing community. Post awesome content. Members will show up and start commenting. That's how it works, right? ๐—ช๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—ก๐—š!! The one thing I notice consistently across so many communities, are community owners asking "๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐—œ ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐—บ๐˜† ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ?" We've been told that it's a simple matter of posting stuff that they want to comment on. But quite honestly it doesn't always work that way. The reality is that as a community owner, ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ in our communities. One thing I do in every single post is include a CTA (๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ) that tells my members exactly how to engage in the comments. I don't leave it open by saying "what's your thoughts" or "anyone else?" Instead, I create something Drop a comment below and tell me how you teach your members to engage with your content... or tell us where you're getting stuck! ๐Ÿ‘‡

@Pamela Igwe when people join your community, they automatically follow you. So unless someone unfollows you, then your members are following you.
