🐆How Ginny (14y) went from 100m fly LCM 1:09 -> 1:04 in 6 months
6 months ago her 100 fly long course time was 1:09 and she was constantly comparing herself to her competitors: She smashed it in practice… then on race day her brain would freak out. Stomach tight, overthinking every stroke, suuuper nervous. Her parents kept saying “just believe in yourself” but she didn't know how... Then we started working together. She didn’t change her club or add more meters. We changed what was happening in her head. 🌈Now before races she has: - A simple 3-minute routine she does every time - A sentence she says to herself on the blocks - A way to reset if she starts to panic mid-race (it's rare these days...) 🚤Last summer she went 1:04 in the 100m fly LC. Same pool, same event, same girl… completely different mindset. The best part isn’t even the time… it’s that she actually looks forward to racing now. Car rides home are way less tears, way more “ok, what can we tackle next?” If your kid is like I was... great in training, tight in races... it’s not that they’re weak or lazy. No one just showed them how to use their mind yet. #keepthewinscoming!!!! We're doing great as a Swimpros team. Got any wins yourself? Post them we wanna know. If you're struggling, ask for help.
