I brought up Hermes on a VPS to connect to my BOT. Thank you for providing these tools sets to review.
ā€œBoringā€ is the new ā€œExcitingā€
The most exciting thing happening in AI right now is boring. For the last six months, every AI release was a fireworks show. New models. Video generation. Voice. Agents controlling your phone. Agents joining your meetings. Agents spending your money. Demo after demo after demo. And it was incredible. But watch what's happening right now. The newest OpenClaw releases aren't shipping flashy features. They're shipping safer plugin installs. Channel delivery fixes. Provider recovery. Security boundaries. Permission checks. Audit trails. Boring stuff. And it's the most important shift in the entire industry. Here's why. Demos are easy. Getting an AI agent to do something impressive once, on stage, in a controlled environment? Anyone can do that now. Getting an AI agent to run unattended for weeks, touching real money, real client data, and real systems, without breaking, leaking, or going rogue? That's the hard part. That's the part that actually matters. And that's the part the whole industry is finally focusing on. Microsoft is building containment and governance into Windows. Databricks and the enterprise world are judging agent platforms on observability and recovery, not demo magic. OpenClaw is rebuilding its foundation around trust boundaries instead of new tricks. The entire conversation is shifting from "look what it can do" to "can you trust it to do that without you watching." This is the exact same lesson I've been teaching for over a decade. The flashy part is never the hard part. I've built remote teams for 11 years. Hiring someone who looks great in an interview is easy. Building a system where that person delivers consistently, for years, without you babysitting them? That's the entire game. AI agents are no different. The demo is the interview. The boring reliability is whether you can actually depend on it. And right now, while the hype crowd is still chasing the next shiny model... The serious builders are quietly making their agents bulletproof.
