As we roll over to a new year and enter the comma club (in terms of members) it seems fitting that this is also a good time to introduce a new moderator! Please help me in welcoming @Faith Adebayo who will be joining @Mona Weathers as moderators for this group. Both have a wealth of experience leading groups, have been around the CLASSIFIEDS since the beginning, and I am so grateful that they have both agreed to help out with ensuring the CLASSIFIEDS is a positive, supportive place where you want to hang out. I think this is also a great time to clarify some of the guidelines that people get confused about: 1. Posts in the community are for free offers (paid Skool groups are fine). 2. Paid offers must be posted in the Classroom (you can link to the classroom from the community). You can do this by becoming a Premium member. 3. You can post once a day in any category, NOT once a day in each category. If you have more than one group, you still only get one post a day. This is to prevent the feed from getting clogged up. 4. You must promote yourself (and you must be the one doing the posting - not a VA, admin, etc). Affiliate links and shoutouts are reserved for the #FriendFriday thread. 5. Absolutely not promotional DMs or DMs inviting people to join your group - this is grounds for immediate removal from the group. The whole purpose of the group is to promote yourself, so please do it in the public feed. I'm so looking forward to seeing what everyone creates this year, how everyone collaborates, and most importantly getting to know you all more through our meet ups, which you can find on the calendar. Today was another travel day - we left a day early to avoid the snow again. We had a wonderful holiday, but it's nice to have everyone safely tucked into bed at home as well! There is just a little over 24 hours left in 2025 and we are only 28 members away from our goal of 1000 Classifieders by 2026! You all have done an amazing job with the referrals and the shoutouts, and I couldn't have reached this goal without you! Every single referral is important, but I want to give a special mention to @Jake Hill and @Diana Frank who have referred the most Skoolers in the last 72 hours. If you were at the last PERSONALS meet up, you will know that I have a special opportunity planned for January, but because of the amazing work you all have been doing since Sunday, I've decided to start the challenge a bit early. Qualified Skoolers means someone who has an active Skool group showing on their profile. They cannot be an admin, a moderator, or a co-owner. They have to show as the owner of the group, and the group has to be visible on their profile page. Use your personalized invitation link (found in the right panel under active members) to have your referrals credited to you). The winner will have a 72-hour period in February where I will pin a post of their choice. The post must meet my standards for quality (we will work together to ensure quality if necessary). There will be other ways in the coming weeks and months to earn/buy pinned posts, but I hope this is a fun way to kick things off! Even if you don't have a lot of Skoolers in your own group, you can still reach out to Skoolers you know in other groups who are looking for enhanced visibility or who are looking for an amazing group to network and collaborate with.

It was such an honour to be able to get together with so many amazing Classified members today. Learning about everyone's expertise, their groups, and how they help others with their skills, talents, and experience is always inspiring. 11 days ago, I had zero members on Skool. Today, we're approaching Top 100 in the Money category. I didn't have a massive following. I am yet to share on any of my socials, and I haven't had a team promoting for me. Here's what I've done: — Posted ~3-5 times per day on avg. — Lead with value and be personable — Welcomed every single new member — Rewarded the early members publicly — Announced something exciting almost daily The result? 450+ members. 7,000+ engagements. And momentum I can feel. The biggest lesson? People don't just want content. They want to feel like they're part of something being built. Start messy. Build in public, and the audience will come. A question I have for the group though -- at what point did you make your community paid? I'm trying to figure out the right timing. Do I flip the switch at 1,000 members? 2,000? Or is it less about the number and more about something else? For those of you who've done this before; what worked? What would you do differently? Drop your thoughts below.
