I do that sometimes when I don't want to drink plain water. I cut up some cucumbers and put them in a jar of water. In another jar, I add a couple of strawberries and half a banana and water. I also made water and put mint leaves in it. Do you ever flavor your water? I meant to take pics, but forgot and drank it. 😀 Mark your calendars for Monday - Coffee with me. The majority of you voted for the second video—thank you so much for your feedback! I’ll be using that one. 💚 Yesterday, I meal-prepped for the week, except for the quinoa, which I’ll make today. I also stopped by my local farmers market and picked up some fresh okra. I turned it into three different dishes: baked okra, fried okra, and okra gumbo—three meals from one vegetable! I also picked up an eggplant and made eggplant Parmesan. Then I baked sweet potatoes, prepared a fresh salad, and roasted onions, peppers, carrots, and mushrooms. Then I pulled out my juicer and made some apple juice, carrot-apple with ginger juice, and Kale, spinach, and apple juice. I drank a lot yesterday, and then put those in the freezer. For dessert, I made Key lime ice cream with a Raspberry sauce. I got my alfalfa seeds in yesterday, started soaking them, and my microgreens won't arrive until Wed. Take a look at my clover; I've been sprouting them for a couple of days. They are almost ready. If you are interested in learning how to sprout, let me know in the comments. I wrote two songs, my first time ever! 🎶 I’m trying to decide which one would make the best outro for my YouTube channel. Which one do you like best? Video on the left, video on the right, or neither one? I also made homemade plant-based milk yesterday, almond and soy. 🌱🥛 Do you make your own plant-based milk? It’s actually simple: 1 cup raw almonds + 3 cups water Place in a high-speed blender, Vitamix, Blendtec or Nut machine Blend, strain through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth, and sweeten with dates, or leave it unsweetened. Save the pulp to use in other recipes such as cookies, cake, and plant-based raw nut balls. Shake and drink. Simple ingredients. Fresh taste. Plant-powered goodness. 💚I
