Provisional Agenda Friday 7th June 8am Meet for breakfast (venue tbc) 9am Pair up with another coach tell them who you help and what problem you solve and create your elevator pitch together 10:15-10:45 Registration at Grosvenor casino Broad Street (you need to bring ID) for speed networking with other business owners (I will be advertising the networking in Birmingham on Eventbrite so you will need to book your ticket) 11.00 Speed networking starts in pairs 3-5 mins then on to next person (depending on numbers that attend) until you’ve met everyone or until 1pm whichever comes first. 1pm Lunch 2.30 Guided mindful walk in Birmingham or seated in the library with @Tennille Jacobs 3.30 Enjoy the hip hop festival 5.30 Meet my friend Helen and go to dinner at 6pm ?Pad Thai and Karaoke 8.00 Back to the casino to spend our drink voucher (that we hopefully collected at networking in the morning) I’m booking a game on experience with Helen (optional) once I’ve learned how to play and had a small bet (I’m feeling lucky right now 🍀) then it’s off around the city until it’s your bedtime. I’m new here, and a bit nervous. My name is Stephanie and I live in a small town in Michigan. I just graduated from college with my bachelor’s degree in human services with a concentration in substance abuse. I decided that I wanted to coach instead of getting my masters degree. I am hoping to help change the world and follow my dream. I am hoping to help individuals with trauma and crisis as well as get to the root cause that is driving their emotions. Here is the letter i will be presenting to my dad that Ed and I came up with on todays Expert Coach Accelerator Session. Thank you @Ed JC Smith for all you do. Just when i thought it couldn't get any better.... you absolutely blow my mind and overdeliver beyond anything i could ever imagine. Here is the letter i wrote and I'm about to make the 2.5 hour drive to go see my dad right now and tell it to him face to face.... Dad, I have been lying that you are the bad guy in my life and that you don’t love me and that you want to hold me back in my life and that you want to see me fail. When the truth is that I have been ungrateful for everything you have done for me such as choosing to adopt me, raising me, taking care of me, and providing for me my whole life. The truth is that the strength that I have today is because of you. All the good things that I have in my life are because of you. And the truth is that I love you and the truth is that you love me more than I know. The cost of the lie that I have been living in is that we don’t have a good relationship, and I have been holding myself back from becoming the man that I want to be. The cost of the lie is that I haven't been able to live my best life, and I haven't been able to live up to my true potential. What’s been missing is my appreciation and gratefulness for all the love that you have given to me. Moment to moment I am committing to being grateful and thankful for the love that you have given to me all my life and for the love that you have for me everyday. You do so much for so many people and I know that is not always appreciated. So I want you to know that I truly appreciate you and that I love you and I am grateful that you chose to be my dad, and that you chose me to be your son. Thank you Dad, I love you.
