What's your thoughts on Spy vs Spy 3?
Personally, Spy vs Spy 2 was my fave, but most likely because I'd played it before the first one, which I think most people would say is the best, and certainly most challenging. I remember when I first played the 3rd one, I pretty much instantly dismissed it. I'm not sure if it was because it lacked the atmosphere of the others, or because it just felt like more of the same. However, I played it again yesterday with an open mind and it's actually quite good fun. It's a shame it was a bit of a commercial flop, as apparently there was a 4th one planed which was going to be in space. This makes sense as in the 3rd one, when you complete the level, you get in a rocket and blast vertically out of the screen. What's your thoughts on this game or any of the others in the series?

@Jason Abbott The first one is probably the most iconic. What would have been best is if the 2nd game was a blend of the 1st and 2nd one. They are all cool though jn their own way. What a shame number 4 was shelved.

@Jason Abbott Oh yeah, that would have been brilliant, you would be able to do giant leaps and stuff, shoot with lazers etc
Commodore 1901 monitor
Does anyone else own one of these? I recently picked this up locally for the bargain price of £30. I’d not heard of it before and only bought it after a 1701 monitor I had bought fell through. After a bit of research found out it was released for use with the C128 but works fine with the 64 using Luma/Chroma. I’m really pleased with it and goes well with my C64G.

Wow, no I've not seen those, it looks great though! I would love to get a decent retro monitor at some point.
COMPETITION TIME - Win a classic edition of C&VG Magazine
Hi Gang - As promised, here's our first competition. As you know, I'm keen to grow our group a bit, so I thought of something that could help us all. To win a chance of winning the pictured classic edition of Computer and Video Games magazine, all you have to do is invite 1 person (or more) to our Commodore Brotherhood. This will put you in a draw and I will pick a winner at random, and send the magazine to you for free, wherever in the world you live! To invite properly (so it tracks your name as the inviter), if you're on your mobile, tap the 3 dots button top right and choose "Invite People". If you're on a computer, go to the MEMBERS tab at the top and choose "Invite". Hint, there are many Facebook 64 groups with people you could ask :-) I'll leave this competition open until Monday 13th! p.s. Thanks to all of you who have already invited people. Good luck!

Any love for Microprose
These "games" were really a cut above the rest. This is my small collection (would love to get Pirates!!!). Which is your favourite of the Microprose games? Mine is Gunship but I love them all!

@Xander Mol 2 Great games for very different reasons. Just these 2 alone show how diverse Microprose's games were, but always high quality!
