🎄 When Do You Put Your Tree Up?
Alright, I’m curious about something… It feels like every year, Christmas creeps up earlier and earlier.People used to wait until after Thanksgiving — almost like it was a rule. Now?It’s November 20th and I’m seeing full-blown winter wonderlands everywhere. And yes… we already put ours up too.A few days before Thanksgiving.Mostly because we’re traveling this week, and Denise’s parents were visiting — so we wanted to do it together. But it got me thinking… Are we all just skipping Thanksgiving now? Does Christmas come faster every year? Or is this just what adulthood feels like? 😂 👉 What about LFG? When do YOU put your tree up? Day after Thanksgiving? November 1st? Or do you hold the line until December? Snap a selfie and share if it’s already up.

@Tammy Conrad that's so cool. Do you decorate it differently for each season or holiday?

@Tammy Conrad love that! The visual in my mind right now. Pyramid of gifts with a Christmas tree on top.

I've been thinking about the original Thanksgiving—not the holiday we know today, but what actually happened in 1621. The Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians gathered to celebrate the first successful harvest. These weren't people who had it easy. They had crossed an ocean, lost loved ones, struggled through brutal conditions. But they stopped to give thanks for what they had created together. President Lincoln made this a national holiday in 1863—right in the middle of the Civil War. The country was divided, families were torn apart, and he still declared a day of gratitude. That's powerful. Here's what I've noticed in my own life: when I focus on what's working, more things start working. When I acknowledge progress, even small progress, momentum builds. When I appreciate what I have, opportunities seem to multiply. It's not magic—it's just how our minds work. Gratitude shifts our focus from scarcity to abundance. And that shift changes how we show up, what we notice, and what we create. The colonists didn't wait until everything was perfect to celebrate. They celebrated the harvest they had—and that gratitude fueled the next season. So today, I'm grateful for this community and the perspectives you all share. What's one thing you're grateful for this year? Doesn't have to be profound—just real.

Quick story that made me laugh this morning.
I was trying to train our chiweenie Venus (Picture Below) to stop lunging at other dogs on walks. She's crazy food-motivated, so I brought treats and rewarded her every time she stayed calm near another dog. Worked great. For about five minutes. Then she figured out the game. Now she stops every 20 yards, plops down, and just stares at me like "pay up." She reverse-engineered my entire system in one walk. Anyway, just thought it was funny how quickly behavior changes when the reward structure is obvious. Also reminded me I'm definitely not smarter than my dog. Anyone else have pets that are way too clever for their own good? Would love to see photos if you've got them.

@Latasha Mays dogs are pretty great. They are also a big responsibility that I don't think we fully appreciated until after the fact.
🔥 STOKED - Huge milestone in manifesting a massive dream
🚀 I just reached a massive milestone on a project I've been thinking of for a while and started building this past week... and was very much influenced by this group in finally making this happen!! Also, I took a step back from the Skool Ads Challenge because I wasn't sure on whether a launching a Skool Community (helping SMB's implement AI effectively) was the right move for me "right now" ... so I shifted my energy back to building something I've had on the "whiteboard" for quite some time. While I'm coaching and helping SMB owners to implement AI into their businesses effectively ... I'm also building a Real Estate Voice AI Agent that can handle inbound & outbound calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email ... qualify the buyers & seller, route them to the right agents, book viewings, and answer questions. The Voice AI is working really well and I'm excited to share 🎉 .

I think because you said progress, I saw progress first. The second word I found was powerful.
