Hi Dave, I’m based in New Zealand and mainly collect New Zealand pre-decimal stamps, as well as United States issues, particularly from 1847 through the 1930s. I also collect other countries’ early issues, focusing on their first to tenth stamps released. From time to time, I sell stamps reputable auction groups on social media. I usually offer them at bargain prices, and I also donate stamps to our local club to encourage juniors and beginners. Additionally, I support an overseas club by sending free stamps to help keep the hobby alive and thriving rather than fading away. In my observation this hobby is fading from traditional way as some countries and post offices are starting to change direction of mail and stamps, it’s leaving us collectors / traders now to do something to keep this hobby strive, i believe that helping clubs to rebuild the interest and involving juniors and introduced the important of stamp collection may be a driver of change. That’s a little about me :)
@Dave Sheridan if you don’t mind i just created a group (no members yet) but this one is not about buying and selling but more on education, ideas, techniques about stamp collection. Please join me as i know this is also a detrimental knowledge to any beginners in this hubby. My group invite is https://www.skool.com/world-stamp-club-6384/about
