Leunig - The haves and the have-nots
During last Mondays virtual cuppa I was talking about my favourite cartoon. I have a copy on my fridge that's been there for at least 20 years. I'm sharing it here for you all - Whenever I'm feeling a bit of scarcity I look at this and feel better!

Lovely message, thank you for this
Full moon drumming recording
Thanks everyone who came last night to celebrate gratitude on this full moon through drumming, singing and heartfelt sharing. It was very special to have women joining from the UK and from Greece - thankyou @Inkeri Medley and @Georgia Evangelatou! A truly international circle. The recording is available in the Classroom Full Moon Drumming October page @Belinda Lowrey and for the others who attended if you want to re-experience it. I will set up new pages for November's new moon and full moon soon. Thank you all for your support!

Singing, and Full moon circle
Hi everyone, I hope you have enjoyed your day today. I went to my choir practice today, which is always a guaranteed mood booster! I sing with a group called Maisie's choir which is located in Yass in New South Wales for those of you who are not local. It is an older person's choir but they do open it to others who are interested. I think that 80% of the people are in their 80s, I am definitely the youngest at 55 and I absolutely love it! One lady's 97 and I really think that she is secretly 79 and just says she Is 97! She's incredible. Next week we are having a performance at a nursing home. We're singing three African songs and I'll be playing my Djembe along with them, which they all think is super cool and I love their reaction to it. We're also singing a few songs on the theme of stars, such as catch a falling star and swinging on a star. I'll try to take a video because it should be a lot of fun. Do you ever sing for fun? I really find that one of the best ways to feel good and science has even proven that singing in a group boosts our happy hormones. For another guaranteed mood booster, you might like to join in our full moon online Drumming Circle, this coming Sunday, 25 October. Head to the Classroom to sign up if you want to join - and remember you don't even need a drum to participate and enjoy. 💕 We will be reflecting on gratitude for all the things in our lives, singing a few songs and drumming for joy. I'd love to see you there!

I've tried out a few drums and decided the best one to use tonight is one that my husband made! I explain in the video what it's all about, if you'd like to attend you can sign up anytime tonight before we start at 8pm. Thanks to all those who have signed up already, it will be a beautiful sacred hour that we carve out for ourselves this evening. If you'd like to come but can't make this time I will record the session so you can participate afterwards. Just head to the Classroom page and click on the New Moon drumming course page to sign up.
