Armenian Cucumbers
Hey everyone. I had to transplant my Armenian cucumbers into a bigger container. The dirt fell apart and disturbed the roots. Will they survive or should I just plant more seeds just in case they don’t survive?

@Julie Vigil there was some still attached to the stem but I seen a lot just in the dirt that fell apart also. I can throw in some more seeds just in case.

@Larry Baracco will do. Thanks.
The One Straw Revolution
Someone mentioned a book to me that I found interesting. Highlights: The illusion of control creates suffering and environmental degradation. Value “weeds” and “pests” as teachers and partners. The greatest benefit to gardening/farming is spiritual and ecological restoration. True regeneration begins with humility — trusting natural processes more than human invention. Soil fertility and biodiversity are not built; they are released when interference stops. Farming is a spiritual act: healing the land heals the mind. Simplicity ≠ stagnation; it’s active balance.

This sounds very interesting. The “valuing weeds” part really resonates. I learned a lot through my vegan/holistic journey. What we call weeds, a lot of times, aren’t really weeds but are medicinal and were used for centuries.
Rain 🌧️
I’m out here collecting rainwater. lol. I heard it’s the best to use for the garden. But why does it look so dirty??? Is it still okay to use?

@Dennis Wichter well if it is, hopefully they will go over to my pepper plants and pollinate those for me. I would really appreciate it. There is a bunch of flowers.

I pulled it too soon. 😩 It would’ve helped if I looked to see what it was supposed to look like before I plucked it. That’s why the tip of the bean was purple. I was supposed to wait until it turned purple 😂. The beans are still green. Are they still edible and can I freeze them green and add the rest when they get ready? I have 2 more pods frowning and 4 flowers that popped up. I might still get enough before it gets too cold. 🤞🏽 Disclaimer: I have no clue what I’m doing. Trial and error. This is my first time growing any of this stuff.
