Why I started watching p*rn in the morning
During yesterday's Expert Coach Accelerator call we were talking about morning routines. One of the members mentioned how she meditates for 40 minutes before bed AND again when she wakes up. I had to stop her right there. Here's why: Your morning energy is PRECIOUS. And while everyone bangs on about meditation... Starting your day in ultra-calm mode might not serve you⦠Especially as a coach who needs ENERGY to serve clients⦠YOU are your first client, after all. In fact... I recently did a 7-day experiment to prove how morning choices have a massive impact on the rest of your day. Fair warning: This got dark real quick... Because instead of my usual routine, I: * Scrolled my phone for an hour * Watched p*rn * Ate pure garbage * Skipped the gym * Talked shit to myself all day I couldn't even make it through the full week. By day 3, I felt so terrible I had to stop. (The things I do for science... ) But it proved something critical: Small morning choices CREATE your day. That's why instead of meditation, I prefer: * Breathwork (it energizes vs calms) * Cold plunge/shower (2 mins = massive ROI) * Movement But thatās just me. And the truth is⦠The "perfect" routine is the one that fits YOUR life. Got kids? A commute? Your routine will look different than someone with 3 hours free each morning. The key is finding what gives YOU energy. What pushes YOU out of your comfort zone. What serves YOUR goals. Your morning routine doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to serve your energy. Because your current (or future) clients deserve your best. What's your morning routine?
