❌𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 Many community owners create offers that are too generic, unclear, or packed with too many outcomes. This makes it difficult for visitors to quickly understand what they’ll actually gain from joining. People join communities for specific results, not broad topics or vague promises. ❌𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 (𝗡𝗼 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁) Some community owners launch their community and immediately start pushing paid courses without first providing value. This often leads to low conversions because trust hasn’t been built yet. Selling early usually only works for creators who already have strong trust with the audience they're bringing in. Build engagement -> Deliver wins -> Then monetize = ✅ ❌𝗡𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 "𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻" 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 Many community owners skip creating a welcome or roadmap post, which can leave new members feeling lost and unvalued. Without clear guidance, members don’t know what to do next after joining. A simple welcome or roadmap post helps members get started quickly and feel more confident engaging. ❌𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 This kills communities fast Members expect: 1. Active leader 2. Quick replies 3. Regular posts Even 15 minutes daily makes a big difference. ❌𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗢𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 Many community owners forget onboarding, leaving new members confused about what to do after joining. Without guidance, members often lose interest quickly and stop engaging with the community. ❌𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 Many community owners overload their communities with too much content, which can overwhelm members and reduce engagement. When there’s too much to consume, people often feel bored or unsure where to start. Less, but more focused and valuable content almost always performs better.
