Day 1 Introduction
Hi everyone, I’m Michelle. I’m here to get more hands-on with practical AI automation and turn concepts into actual working systems. One of the reasons I joined this challenge is because I’m building backend workflows and want a structured way to test, validate, and improve what I’m creating. I appreciate that this community seems intentional, straightforward, and focused on outcomes. Looking forward to learning alongside everyone and seeing what we all build over the next 7 days. #AISChallenge

Welcome!
Completed Day 5 - Website Design
Unfortunately, I didn't have a website that I needed to build myself, but a friend of mine has just started her own business locally. I thought I'd take the opportunity with what I'm learning through the AI 7-day challenge to build out her first website. You'll see below the link and screenshots. She's over the moon and can't believe what's been created. 😄 https://beautyoverbec.com/#top

Congrats! This looks awesome. Keep it up.
[Day 2] MCP Server lesson done! #AISChallenge
Completed day 2 and glad I finally got to see what Firecrawl can do. I always heard it can scrape sites but hadn't seen any use cases. Had a hiccup along the way with connecting to firecrawl's MCP server from Claude Code… think in the video Nate used the 'claude code' section command but that didn't work for me. It worked when I used the 'VS Studio' link on the Firecrawl website to connect to MCP (maybe it's changed since the video was made). 2nd small hiccup was when my Firecrawl account ran out of credits while Claude Code was running the prompt to scrape a job site to a csv file. It just stopped with less listings so I still got to see the final product which was cool (this task took 1000+ credits 🤷‍♀️). I used my work email to sign up for more credits to run the next use cases which only took 1 credit each haha. Both created nice looking artifacts below, analyzing Myclaw's brand colors and Blue Bottle's site mapping which was impressive!

Congrats! Keep going.
7 Day AIS Challenge Day 4 Lead Finder Automation
For Day 4, I deployed a lead finder automation using Trigger.dev. The automation searches for local businesses that may benefit from automated workflows and adds those leads to a Google Sheet for me every Monday morning. One thing that broke was getting all the deployment/configuration pieces connected cleanly. Claude Code helped work through the setup so the automation could run successfully in the cloud and write the output where I needed it. This was a cool milestone because it is not just a script running locally anymore. It is something scheduled that can work in the background while I am doing other things. #AISChallenge

Congrats! Great work. Keep it up.
#7dayAISChallenge - Day 4 (Completed)
Deployed first automation on Trigger.dev 🎉 1. What you deployed - Built a simple automation that will send top trending searches in RSS every morning to me and my partner along with the related 3 news article links. (We both rarely watch News, haha) 2. What it broke - mostly the formatting of email. Ooh and because I didn't plan well, it deployed the draft version to production directly the very first time. Soo much to learn and build using claude code, looking forward to Day 5! 🥰
