I deliberately use the word 'accusations' in the title, not because I hold homosexuals in disdain, but it seems the people asking me about it do. What consenting adults do behind closed doors is no concern or interest of mine. I see people for who they are, not what they prefer to do in the bedroom. Because I dress 'somewhat differently' to how most people dress, and I try to behave in a gentlemanly fashion. I sometimes get asked if I'm gay. If this is an honest enquiry, it doesn't bother me at all and I'm happy to chat. But I'm finding it is increasingly asked in a more aggressive way and is phrased more as an insult rather than a question over the last few years. I normally respond to this type of question with "No, I'm not, but thank you for the offer anyway" and their reaction is often hilarious. I'm just curious if you gentlemen are also seeing an increase in this type of aggressive behaviour. As I have mentioned in other posts, I was brought up in one of the roughest parts of Glasgow and am also ex-military, so although I'm not going to start a physical altercation, I am more than able to end it. But I understand others here may not be in that position. Is there an increase in this where you are? And if so, how do you respond?
