Must people follow generic templates and copy what they see working for others. The problem with this is you end up with a lifeless group that dies after launch. No culture. No inside jokes. No reason to come back. No paying members. The new way is The Yard Party Method + YARDLORE. This is superior because you’re not “running a community”, you’re hosting a backyard BBQ. Open door energy. Team West vs Team East beef. Raids, sprints, wins culture, silly rewards. A world people actually want to hang out in. Not just another course platform they forget about. I grew Skoolyard from basically nothing using Skool Discovery (no paid ads early), built real momentum with events + lore, and turned it into a rent-paying engine without becoming a content zombie.
