NEW PHONE SCRIPT TO DELTE ITEMS FASTER
I’ve been testing a new phone script with some clients and we’re seeing strong results, so I wanted to share it with everyone in the group. First — understand this: ❌ The goal is NOT to demand deletion. ❌ The goal is NOT to argue with the rep. ❌ The goal is NOT to threaten lawsuits. The goal is accuracy. If the account is accurate → it stays.If they cannot verify it as accurate → it cannot legally continue reporting as accurate. And if they can’t verify it? It must be corrected or removed. This approach works with:✔ Experian✔ TransUnion✔ Equifax Here’s the script: — “Hi, I’m calling because I noticed something concerning on my credit report. The account listed shows a different date opened than what’s reporting on another bureau, and I want to make sure everything is accurate. Can you help me understand where Experian is getting that date from, and whether it has been verified with the furnisher recently?” — Notice what this does psychologically: • You sound calm• You sound informed• You’re asking for clarification• You’re not accusing• You’re not demanding You are positioning yourself as someone auditing for accuracy. Most reps are trained to handle emotional callers. They are NOT trained to handle calm accuracy audits. Remember — accuracy is leverage. If they say it’s verified: Ask when it was last verified and how. If they hesitate: That's information. This is how you trigger manual review without sounding combative. Test it. Document your calls.
