@Karen Mack is it always the male kicking at the window? Because he’s probably defending his territory and protecting his family. Is this a window that you can just cover up the outside with a towel or hang something in front of it for a couple of days? Or just put the barrier upduring the times that he’s most active? Probably in the mornings and late afternoons You can also try hanging streamers or something from the inside; but if you leave a big enough spacing, they’ll still see the reflection and they will still try to get at it. I’ve seen people tape the windows with masking tape in a grid pattern. You could use the skills that Michele taught us in class. 🤣, They have bird tape too. You could probably look it up on Amazon. The tape has to go on the outside of the window because if you put it on the inside of the window, they’ll still see the reflection on the outside. You just have to break it up enough where they can’t see a whole reflection of themselves thinking that they are protecting their territory. I hope you find a solution to your kamikaze Dude. It will settle down after they’re young fledged. I had Cardinals in Texas that would attack my cats when they went outside in the backyard. That’s how I knew they had babies and I would look for them following in the area that they actually attacked my cats. Once I found the l fledgling,I would bring the cats in for two weeks until they fledged and then I let them back out. Just gotta work with Nature I let the parents and the babies do what they need to do.
