How to Build a Daily Prayer Habit That Actually Transforms You (Discipleship Starts Here)
Most people want deeper faith but skip the very thing Jesus modeled most: consistent time with the Father. Prayer isn’t a religious checklist. It’s discipleship in action. Before Jesus taught crowds… He prayed. Before He chose leaders… He prayed. Before major moments… He withdrew and prayed. If you want to grow spiritually, lead better, disciple others, and hear God more clearly, don’t start with trying harder, start with meeting with Him consistently. Action Steps for Today: - Set a timer for 10 minutes with God (start small) - Read one chapter of Scripture before praying - Ask: “Jesus, what are You teaching me today?” - Write one action you will take before the day ends - Share one takeaway in the comments Transformation rarely happens in one powerful moment. It’s ’s built in daily moments of prayer and obedience. Question for the community: What’s the biggest challenge keeping you consistent in prayer right now? Starting on Monday we will start the 5 day mini course on Prayer-The Jesus Model. My prayer is you all will participate.

Conclusion: Carry the Towel
Over these last five days, we’ve discovered something that changes everything: Jesus never asked us to chase position. He invited us to pick up a towel. In a world that tells us to build platforms, protect status, and make life about ourselves, Jesus knelt down. He washed feet. He served. And then He looked at His disciples and essentially said: “Now go do the same.” Carrying the towel is not weakness. It is Kingdom strength. It means: - Choosing people over popularity. - Serving before being seen. - Leading by lifting others. - Showing up when no one applauds. - Building disciples instead of building our own image. The truth is this: Anyone can sit in a seat. Not everyone will pick up the towel. But movements are built by people who do. Your family changes when someone carries the towel. Your workplace changes when someone carries the towel. Your church changes when someone carries the towel. Communities change when people stop asking, “Who will serve me?” and start asking, “Who can I serve?” So here is your challenge: Don’t let this be a 5-day inspiration moment. Make it a lifestyle. Action Steps: 1. Identify one person you can intentionally serve this week. 2. Ask God each morning: “Where can I carry the towel today?” 3. Do one act of service anonymously. 4. Invite someone else to serve with you. 5. Write down what changed in you after choosing service. Remember: The towel in your hand may feel small… …but in the hands of Jesus, it can change lives. Carry the towel. Serve people. Build disciples. Leave a legacy. See you in the next journey.

It’s so secret no one will post it. 😂😂
🚨 The massive leadership lie we’ve all been sold (and how to fix it)
Every single one of us wants to make a massive impact in our ministries, families, and businesses. But modern culture has sold us a trap. Culture tells us that to lead, you have to be the loudest person in the room. You have to be the Hero of the story. You need the stage, the flawless image, and all the answers. So, we try to play the hero. And what happens? ❌ We burn out from the pressure. ❌ The people we lead feel disconnected and discouraged. There is a better way. And it changes everything for team builders. If you look at the life of Jesus, He never fought for the spotlight. He didn’t come to be the hero of a political movement. Instead, Jesus acted as the ultimate Guide. Think about the night before His crucifixion. He didn’t give a booming speech from a throne. He got down on His knees, took a basin of water, and washed His disciples' dirty feet. Jesus redefined leadership forever: True leadership is not about putting the spotlight on yourself. It’s about shining it on others. In our churches, businesses, families, communities and teams, we are not the heroes. The people we lead are the heroes. Our job is to be their guide. Let’s lay down the need to be seen, pick up the towel, and lead like Jesus today. CHALLENGE: The 7-Day "Way of the Towel" Leadership Reset Team, it’s time to move from Hero to Guide. For the next 7 days, we are going to put Jesus’ style of servant leadership into active practice. No theories. Just raw, actionable leadership habits that build unstoppable discipleship teams. 🏆 How to Participate: Read the daily prompt each morning. Complete the action step before the day ends. Reply to that day's post with "DONE" and share a 1-sentence win or reflection.

Done, but to be honest I tweaked the question. It really didn’t sound like me.

@Joseph Merriam I asked if there was any issues or problems and if I could do anything to help with it.
Day 5 Imitating Jesus: Trust the Father Like Jesus
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” One thing that stands out in Jesus’ life is His complete trust in the Father. Even when facing the cross, Jesus remained surrendered to God’s will. I’ve faced seasons where I didn’t understand what God was doing. Doors closed. Plans changed. Prayers seemed delayed. Looking back, I can see God’s faithfulness in every season. Trust doesn’t mean having all the answers. Trust means believing God is good even when you don’t understand the process. Action Steps: 1. Identify one area where you’re struggling to trust God. 2. Pray specifically about that situation. 3. Surrender your timeline to God. 4. Thank Him in advance for His faithfulness. Prayer: Lord, help me trust You completely, even when I don’t understand. Amen.

I love Jesus. My family is the second best gift He's ever given to me. One of the ways I serve Him as the Director of our School of Ministry.
