Just a Quick Note,
Morning Syndicate Family, Michael and me have been off line for the past few days because we both have been sidelined with a nasty strain of Asian flu. Michael is literally a tank, who sufferers from service related liver and kidney complications and that has not affected him in degree as this flu has. I'm about three days behind him in the strains lifecycle but we will be back as soon as we are on our feet. See you soon!

Here’s what my ideal customer/audience looks like: older (age 50+) members of the LGBTQ+ community in New England who are seeking connection with peers; ideally demonstrating the diversity of the community (race, ethnicity, income, age, education, etc...) Here is where I make my service and brand visible: Website, Facebook Page, Facebook Groups, occasional Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, Partner newsletters and websites (mostly Senior Centers and Aging Services Access Points), community calendars, and many in-person outreach events. I worked 12(!) Pride events between May-September 2025. The first photo is from Quincy Pride, June 8, 2025. Bonus pic with new friend Steven, we were booth neighbors at Amherst's first ever pride event June 24, 2025. We were tickled to see that we both wore the same t-shirt and had to document it.

@Art Smith, lol, as a person over 50 myself (56), I fit the demographic too, so I'm not labeling anyone something I am not already myself 😜
As a group striving for success, thoughts?
The Army leadership code has 7 leadership behaviours in the acronym LEADERS L-Lead my example You cannot lead people beyond where you are willing to go yourself. You must be consistent and you will be seen as a leader who ‘walks the walk’ and ‘talks the talk’. It is a bit of a red flag to me when someone is their own boss and their reason is that they could never be told what to do. An important part of leadership is followership and the ability to follow as well as lead. What are people’s thoughts?

My leadership style has always been getting my hands dirty in the work alongside my staff, but you need to be genuine about it. There is no faking enthusiasm and concern for the work.
