Spot the Difference
@Adam Formanek has inspired me to create more simple and fun games you can play by yourself or with the kids in your life. Today, I was inspired by the old Highlights for Children magazine I grew up reading. One of my favorite pages was the โ€œSpot the differenceโ€ page. With the help of AI Iโ€™ve created my first one for you. If youโ€™d like the prompt I used so you can create your own, let me know. Can you find the differences between the left and right side? Answers revealed Tuesday to give everyone time to play.

@Mary Nunaley Nice, found them! Quite wild to think about how easy it has become to make these

@Mary Nunaley Yes! Although I have to say, some of them were so random that I wonder if it's an actual difference or a mistake in rendering the images... Probably part of those hallucinations!๐Ÿ˜‰

Reading and Favorite Books
Today is Saturday and that means we have fun and share about ourselves. What was your favorite book or books as a child? Were you drawn to a specific genre or author? What about now as an adult? Do you find yourself still drawn to similar book genres or have you left those childhood stories behind. I loved mysteries, of course, it might be due to that was all my grandma kept at her house. I started with the Bobbsey Twins, then Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys (I preferred them), and graduated to Ellery Queens Minute Mysteries. At home, we had lots of magazines and trips to the library. Your turn.

I can't remember the books I used to like as a child but I am quite sure I would still like reading them now! I do read more non-fiction now in general. There has also been a period in which I read books (in Dutch) related to the elderly and aged care homes, it's changed my perspective on life so much. As well as a book with life lessons of +100 year old people, fascinating!

The History of Shelter (Architecture)
When we look at a "house," we are looking at a history of adaptation. People didn't just build homes to look pretty; they built them to survive the specific pressures of their environment the heat of the desert, the wind of the plains, or the floods of the river. Apartments and high rise living were designed for ever growing populations. What other adaptations can you identify? Whether itโ€™s a stilt house in Southeast Asia or a thick-walled adobe home in the Southwest US, architecture is the ultimate proof of human ingenuity. It teaches an important lesson: The "best" way to live depends entirely on your context. We are often told there is only one "right" way to build a successful life. But architecture shows us that humans have always designed their lives to work in harmony with the world around them. Today, weโ€™re looking at the "History of Home" to see how we can adapt our own lives to feel less heavy. What do you think? What does your perfect home look like?

The importance of a roof over our heads is often underestimated, especially if you have always had one, the type that keeps you dry, warm, and safe...! I actually think that the perfect home might not have an artificial roof on top of it. Given the way we live now it seems strang to think like this but I personally think living in caves, under the canopy of tall trees, (you get the idea) is much closer to perfect than anything else. In all honesty, I would most likely not strive for it either being conditioned in the ways most of us are so let's say a nice little house build with as many natural resources as possible is more realistic!

@Mary Nunaley Super interesting questions because it's all somehow related to the world being overpopulated. It doesn't have to be but the way we live our lives (many of us including myself) is not sustainable with so many of us around. Living below ground would be a great option, there are some examples where people did, and had to! We can learn a lot from ants and termites when it comes living underground. From all animals really!
