What is the hardest thing you have done to improve your volleyball skills and how have you overcome the challenge?
Hi everyone! My name is Ella Wilson, like Emery I am a 16 year old that plays volleyball in Fort Collins, Colorado! I have also worked with Billy and the PowerCore 360 program for 4 years! When I first started I was throwing and hitting around 30 mph but within these past few years I have worked up my strength and speed and can now throw 63 mph and hit 50 mph. These past 5 months I have worked with Billy and Emery doing the PowerCore program twice a week, it has helped me to train and succeed at a high level while keeping my body healthy! The hardest thing for me training wise is my repetition and consistency, it’s hard to wake up early to go workout when you know your friends are sleeping in or hanging out. But hard work is what gets you the farthest! Staying consistent in your training is important because it not only helps build muscle memory but also confidence in yourself and your skills! It’s helpful to have a program like the Master Class that keeps you accountable and challenges you. Just know champions are made off the court, it’s the work that nobody sees that makes you great!
