When we first started we didn’t really require a deposit, as we were just excited to be booking jobs lol. As things have picked up and our time slots have been filling up we started doing 10% on anything at $2500 below 15% on $2500-$7500 25% on $7500-$10000 We’ve secured one $15k job and asked for 33% up front. It’s more about holding a spot for us now.

Kubota SVL 97-3 We also ran Bobcat T86 We love our Kubota! Kubota has a great warranty and service program. And Kubota does in house financing which, for us, as a new LLC was helpful. It made the barrier for entry easier

@James Louros no Kubota basically facilitated the deal with FAE for our mulcher which we financed separately. The Local dealership here in York county is a family owned generational Kubota dealer so we enjoyed their customer service and they hooked us up with a GREAT deal on a trailer.

Educational video series
So I’m creating an educational video series to add to my socials and website for potential clients to help educate them on what we do and why. So far I’ve done 1. why we price by project vs pricing per acre 2. Video below is “top 3 factors that affect forestry mulching price” I want to continue the series my ideas so far are : “How long does forestry mulching take” “What happens to the trees” “When forestry mulching is not the right choice” “3 signs your property needs mulching” “Renting equipment vs hiring an expert” What do you guys think? Just getting started, but living my dream
