Had to Share This Amazing Poem
Hey! You may have seen my previous post about the community I started and the 7 Day Spontaneous Music Challenge that has commenced. Today, @Jason Strickland sent me an amazing reflection in the form of his poetic brilliance, of the Fear Less Spontaneous Music community. I wanted to share it because I know that people here have been graced with Jason’s words, which also gave others creative inspiration here in the Tribe!!!! Thanks again Jason for giving your creative energy to us and helping us see what community really is about, however we go about it! Fear Less, Play More What if music wasn’t talent to prove, But a door swung wide to breathe and move? What if rhythm lived in your heartbeat’s drum, Waiting for courage to simply come? Thumb piano ringing, soft and slow, Stress melts down, the cortisol goes Alpha waves hum, theta takes flight, Burnout loosens its grip tonight. No spotlight pressure, no perfect sound, Just curious souls on playful ground. Come messy, unsure, come bold and brave This is a space where you’re free to create. Presence over polish, joy over fear, With weekly meetups and feedback sincere. Notes and videos, prompts to explore, A library bursting with musical “more.” A coach who listens, a guide who knows, How expression heals and confidence grows. And hey one free hour to map your way, Set goals, feel strong, and start today. So if you’ve whispered, “I’m not enough,” Come rewrite that line with gentler stuff. Fear Less Spontaneous come take part Make music with your hands and heart. By Jason Strickland The Art of Poetry Community
