I've been thinking about how much of building a community happens behind the scenes. We try something. It doesn't quite work. We rethink an offer, change our onboarding, wonder why members aren't participating, or get halfway through an idea and realize we need another perspective. But where do those conversations happen? Inside Skoolology, we've been developing a space called In the Build for exactly those moments. It's where members can bring something they're actively working on, share what they're testing, ask for another set of eyes, or talk about what they're learning along the way. Not a place to promote something finished. A place to work through something unfinished. And here's what I keep coming back to... What if we designed more opportunities for members to help one another while they're building, rather than waiting until they have something successful to share? I'm curious how this works in your community. Do your members have a place where they feel comfortable sharing their work in progress? Or do you find that most people wait until they have something finished before they speak up?
